In this live video from CES 2012 I give a demo of the Samsung Transparent Smartwindow. This is a transparent LCD that has been turned into a window and allows you to do things such as use virtual blinds to black the screen out or view content such as web browsing while still being able to see out the window. It is still a concept and is likely many years from release but a very innovative piece of content.

The PowerShot G1 X is the top of the line for the PowerShot compact camera line and features a 1.5 inch 14 megapixel sensor, 4x optical zoom lens, 3.0 inch articulating screen and 1080p video capability. The Canon PowerShot G1 X will be available in February for $800.

The LG Spectrum features a 4.5″ HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720, a 1.5GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage with an included 16GB microSD card, 8 megapixel rear facing camera and 1.3 megapixel front facing camera and Android 2.3 Gingerbread with a future update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich ICS. The LG Spectrum release date will be January 19th for $200 on contract with Verizon Wireless.

In this video from CES 2012 I give a hands on of the Samsung Galaxy Player 3.6. The Galaxy Player 3.6 is a smaller counterpart to the Galaxy Player 4 and 5 and is an Android based competitor to the iPod touch and Sony Walkman. It features a 3.6 inch WVGA screen, 1GHz single core processor, rear facing 2 MP camera and front facing VGA camera. The Samsung Galaxy Player will be on sale Q1 2012 for an undisclosed price.
