On this episode of The Downshift, we look back at our visit to Toyota Motorsport GmbH in Germany, where Toyota was hard at work preparing their new hybrid prototype racecar for the world’s oldest endurance race, The 24 Hours of Le Mans. After a 13 year hiatus, Toyota hoped to do the impossible – overtake the seemingly invincible Audi team who had dominated Le Mans for the past decade.
