Godzilla Director Tapped for Star Wars! – CineFix Now

Big news in Star Wars Anticipation World today: Gareth Edwards, the director of the new Godzilla film, has been tasked with directing a Star Wars film. Subscribe: http://goo.gl/9AGRm

Edwards won’t direct Episode 7, 8 or 9. Rather, he’ll be helming one of the planned standalone spin-off movies in the Star Wars universe. Speculation to date is that these films will focus on Boba Fett, Han Solo, and Yoda. But who knows at this point?

Gary Whitta, of Book of Eli and After Earth will write the film.
