Once in town, he joins former 205-lb. champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and UFC President Dana White on the set of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil and then participates in open workouts — alone. Welterweight Tyron Woodley checks his weight, while his co-star in the co-main event, Kelvin Gastelum, works his headshots at an area gun range. At long last, Silva’s opponent Nick Diaz overcomes his own logistical issues and lands in Las Vegas. UFC Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog leading up to the UFC 183: Silva vs. Diaz superfight, taking place Saturday, January 31 on Pay-Per-View.
