عمر حجو (31 مارس 1931 – 4 مارس 2015)، ممثل سوري. ولد في حلب سوريا، وهو من مؤسسي نقابة الفنانين السوريين، وهو والد المخرج الليث حجو توفي بسبب مرض عضال.
يعتبر عمر حجو قامة فنية وتربوية وثقافية، فهو من مؤسسي الحركة الفنية السورية ابتداء من مسرح حلب ومسرح الشعب إلى تأسيس نقابة الفنانين والمسرح الإيمائي بسورية ومسرح الشوك مع دريد لحام إضافة إلى أنه شغل منصب أمين سر ورئيس مكتب الاستثمار في نقابة الفنانين لسنوات طويلة.
كانت بداياته الفنية عبر أعمال مسرحية شارك فيها على مسارح حلب وشكل أول فرقة مسرحية خاصة فيه بعد العدوان الثلاثي على مصر في عام 1956 مع الفنان عبد المنعم أسبر حملت اسم “الفنون الشعبية” وقدمت مجموعة من المسرحيات الجادة مثل الاستعمار في العصفورية ومبدأ ايزنهاور وكان أول من أدخل مسرح البانتونيم “التمثيل الإيحائي” للوطن العربي حيث قدم مسرحية النصر للشعوب عام 1959 على مدرج جامعة القاهرة أمام أعضاء المؤتمر الآسيوي الأفريقي كما ساهم الراحل حجو بتأسيس المسرح القومي والتلفزيون السوري في ستينيات القرن الماضي حتى استهدى بعد سنوات من التجريب إلى تجربة مسرح الشوك قبل أن يقدم عرضه الأول “مرايا” على خشبة مسرح المركز الثقافي السوفييتي في دمشق عام 1969 تلته عروض عديدة حققت نجاحا محليا وعربيا شارك فيها فنانون سوريون كبار أمثال دريد لحام ونهاد قلعي ورفيق سبيعي وزياد مولوي وآخرون.

كما شارك حجو في المسرحيات التي قدمها دريد لحام ومحمد الماغوط بدءا من ضيعة تشرين ولكن المساهمة المسرحية الأخرى المهمة في مسيرة عمر حجو تأسيسه للمسرح الجوال بالتعاون مع المسرحي الراحل سعد الله ونوس والمخرج علاء الدين كوكش.

What is a MOBA Game?

MOBA Games are multiplayer online battle arena video games. In spirit, the are all successors to the original Defense of the Ancients (DotA) custom game for Warcraft III. Today, League of Legends (LoL) Dota 2, Heroes of the Storm, Smite, Heroes of Newerth, and a variety of other games exist with active communities today.

They are also known as action real-time strategy games (ARTS) and consist primarily of human-controlled hero or champion units facing off against each other in a 5v5 team. Also included are a plethora of NPC units and various map mechanics to keep gameplay constantly varying.

MOBA games are widely considered the most popular and active eSports engines in modern online multiplayer gaming.

Hubble Sees Supernovae Split into Four Images by Gravitational Lens

Astronomers using NASA’s  Hubble Space Telescope have spotted for the first time a distant supernova split into four images. The multiple images of the exploding star are caused by the powerful gravity of a foreground elliptical galaxy embedded in a massive cluster of galaxies.
This unique observation will help astronomers refine their estimates of the amount and distribution of dark matter in the lensing galaxy and cluster. Dark matter cannot be seen directly but is believed to make up most of the universe’s mass.

These observations were taken as part of the Frontier Fields Survey.
