Supergirl and Top 3 Movies of 2015 (so far) – CineFix Now Roundtable
The CineFix team gathers once again, feeling very gratified (and more than a little tipsy) right after celebrating our Million Subscriber Milestone! Thanks to everyone who got us here! Since that’s pretty much the most awesome thing that’s happened to us in 2015, we decided to look at the most awesome movies of 2015 so far. http://goo.gl/9AGRm
We don’t know about you, but Ex Machina, Mad Max: Fury Road, and Kingsman all caught our attention, big time. There are certainly films we’re looking forward to in the coming months (especially since Clint got to see “Hello, My Name is Doris” and “The Overnight” at festivals, and the rest of the country has to way), but those are our top three.
Also catching our attention this week was the trailer(?) (Pilot promo?) for the new Supergirl TV show on CBS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lm46-envrHo
It’s a presentation aimed at advertisers, rather than viewers, but it raised questions among the team about what type of viewers said advertisers were being promised. And also questions about how much Superman is going to be in the show.
What are your top five (or top 3) movies of 2015 thus far? Do you disagree with any of our picks? What are you most looking forward to in the summer blockbuster season? What did you think of the Supergirl trailer?
Chime in below in the comments!
