أكدت الفنانة دينا، أن اكثر صدمة في حياتها كانت عند علمها بمرض زوجها الراحل سامح الباجوري بمرض السرطان وانه سيموت بعد عام، واضافت دينا أن الصدمة جعلتها تضع حبها لزوجها جانبا وتقول ان الله لم يكتب لهذا الحب أن يستمر، وتفكر في ابنها “علي” الذي كتب عليه أن يعيش يتيم الأب، مشيرة أن “والد على” هو الوحيد الذى لم يحقر من مهنتها .
وعن اسباب إرسال ابنها “علي” إلى أميركا للدراسة وهل إذا كان بسبب عملها، أكدت دينا أن السبب الرئيسي أن ابنها كان لديه مشكلة في القراءة والكتابة في مرحلة معينة، وإما أن تأتي مدرسة من أمريكا لتتولى الدراسة لابنها لأنه كان في المدرسة الأمريكية، فرأت دينا أنه إذا سافر واستقر في أمريكا التكلفة ستكون اقل، بينما أكدت دينا أن في سؤال إيناس شيء من الصح في فكرة الابتعاد عن مصر بسبب عملها خاصة أننا في مجتمع شرقي وممكن أن يسمع كلمة من أحد زملاؤه وحينها ممكن أن ينقلب على والدته، وعما إذا طلب ابنها أن تترك الرقص قالت “لوطلب عينيا سأعطيها له .

أما عن الكتاب الذي كتب عنها في فرنسا قالت دينا، “أهم ما كان يهم القائمون على الكتاب رحلة صعودي وصمودي رغم كل الصعوبات التي قابلتها في حياتي”، وقالت دينا ان والدها تطلقا في زمن كان صعب فيه الطلاق، وجدها والد والدها قال لها أن والدتها توفت ولم تعلم أن والدتها على قيد الحياة إلا وهي في عمر الـ15 عاما.
