شغلت قضية “طالبة الصفر” الرأي العام المصري، ولم يهدأ الجدل المثار حولها، كما شغلت القضية أبرز الصحف العالمية، والتي أوردت تقارير عن الطالبة المصرية مريم ملاك، المعروفة إعلاميا بـ”طالبة الصفر”، وأجمعت الصحف على أن الفساد ليس أمرا جديدا في مصر.
ذكرت شبكة الإذاعة البريطانية “بي بي سي” في تقريرها اليوم الاثنين، أن مريم ملاك هي حالة تمثل الظلم والفساد، مشيرة إلى أن آلاف المصريين متضامنين مع القضية، وخاصة لكونها طالبة متفوقة حصلت على درجات عالية في السنوات الماضية.
وأضافت الشبكة أن توقعات مريم قبل إعلان النتائج كانت عالية إلا أن النتيجة كانت مفاجأة لها، ونقلت عن مريم خلال الحوار التي أجرته مع الشبكة قولها “شعرت بالصدمة التامة، وأصبت بعدم القدرة على النطق، وكنت أتساءل كيف حدث ذلك؟ كيف حصلت على نتيجة “صفر”؟”.
وأشارت الشبكة إلى أن حوادث الرشوة والفساد ليست جديدة في نظام التعليم في مصر، ولكن حالة مريم تلقت قدرا كبيرا من اهتمام الرأي العام، حيث تضامن الآلاف من المصريين معها باستخدام الهاشتاج “أنا مصدق مريم ملاك”.
وقالت صحيفة “ديلي ميل” البريطانية خلال تقريرها المنشور أمس الأحد، إن حلم مريم بدخول كلية الطب تبدد بعد الإعلان عن نتائجها، مشيرة إلى أن الشائعات المنتشرة في الوقت الراهن أن الطالبة تعرضت للظلم بسبب التمييز العنصري لكونها مسيحية.
وقالت صحيفة “هيرالد صن” الأسترالية اليوم الأحد، إن مصر التي تحتوي على نسبة أمية، إذ يعتبر كل ثمانية من عشرة أشخاص لا يستطيعون القراءة والكتابة، تشكل الطالبة “مريم ملاك” استثناء فيها، نظرا لأن الفتاة هي واحدة من عدد قليل من الطلاب المصريين الذين حرصوا على الاجتهاد والعمل لتحقيق علامات نهائية في الامتحانات.

وقالت الصحيفة إن الفساد في مصر ليس شيئا جديدا، إذ يناضل العديد من الطلاب بسبب تلك المشكلة وليست مريم فقط، مستشهدة بتقرير مجلة “فورين بوليسي” التي نشرته في يناير الماضي تحت عنوان “ضياع جيل مصر”، وقالت إن مؤسسات مصر مختلة وظيفيًا، والمؤسسة التعليمية تعد الأسوأ على الإطلاق.
