On this episode of HOT ROD Garage presented by Lincoln Tech, Tony Angelo shows you how to bring a long-forgotten car back to life. Tony demonstrates with his first car, a 1971 Dodge Demon 340, that hasn’t been on the road in nearly 20 years. We start by inspecting and changing all the necessary fluids, then cover the fuel and oiling systems, engine evaluation, and what to do after the engine is running. Following this step-by-step guide, you’ll (hopefully) have that old junker up and running in no time!

TotalBiscuit brings you an overview of the Vermintide Beta. The game will be released on October 23rd. The next round of beta invites goes out on September 30. “My thoughts” is a series of exactly that, an expression of thoughts on a game, usually one yet to be released. It is not a formal review, nor does it claim to be, you will likely find highly subjective opinions within. It does exactly what it says on the tin.

While working in his way through law school in restaurants, the dean of Robert Bohr’s program took notice of his passion for working with wine and the service industry and advised him to quit school and pursue what he really loved. Fast-forward some years later and a few stints as a sommelier at some of New York City’s finest restaurants, and Mr. Bohr now runs his own restaurant—Charlie Bird—in SoHo and is one of the most well-respected figures in the wine world.
We tagged along for a night out with Mr. Bohr and some of his buddies to see what a group of sommeliers eat and drink on a night out. The first stop was NoMad in the Flatiron for some decadent food to match an impressive wine list. For the occasion, Thomas Pastuzak, wine director at NoMad and good friend of Robert, broke out what Mr. Bohr refers to as the “Unicorn Wine.”
We then head to Brooklyn to meet up with Daniel Kessler at his restaurant Bergen Hill for crudo, cocktails, and white wine. Daniel joins as the guys head around the corner for pizza at Lucali and wine from Robert’s secret stash that owner Mark Iacono let’s him keep there. (Mark drives a beautiful classic Cadillac convertible, so naturally, they decide to drive back to Charlie Bird for the final meal of the evening.)
Back at Charlie Bird, head chef Ryan Hardy is hard at work cooking up a feast of Tuscan fried chicken, tortellini, and oysters. To accompany the meal, Robert caps the night by pouring some of his favorite off-menu wines for his favorite people.

It’s been quite some time since the US saw a lightweight, affordable, rear-wheel drive sports car with a high-revving engine. For Subaru [and Scion] the BRZ and FRS twins marked the return of a Japanese tuner sports car for the youth market. The model’s sublime steering, balanced chassis, and sleek styling were an instant hit, but are the two models quick enough for the enthusiast market?

With so much focus on high end smartphones I wanted to find out what you can get for a tenth of the price. With the Microsoft Lumia 635 and Motorola Moto E 2nd Generation you can get a surprisingly decent smartphone with a five megapixel camera, solid build quality and totally adequate performance.
