إن كنت قد حصلت من قبل على مخالفة مرورية لتجاوزك السرعة المحددة أو أي سببٍ آخر، فلعلك لاحظت طريقة رجال الشرطة في الإشارة إليك بالتوقف على جانب الطريق ثم ينزل الشرطي ليُحرر المخالفة بعد أن يكون قد لمس الجزء الخلفي من سيارتك بكفة يده , قد تجد هذه الحركة مألوفة للغاية إن كنت تُقيم في دولة غربية كالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية او أوروبا , إذ أن رجال الشرطة يتعمدون لمس الضوء الخلفي للسيارة عند الاقتراب منها ! وهناك سبب وجيه لذلك !
