It’s hard to believe the Nintendo Switch has already been with us for over a year, but after a slow start (in terms of games, not sales), things are looking very, very well for Nintendo. They’ve built something of pure magic: the Nintendo Switch is an HD console that lets you play it however you want. Whether you’re at home, at the park, or in the backseat of a car, you could whip out the Switch and have some fun. Every major hardware manufacturer has tried to capture the spirit of the Switch, from Microsoft’s “snap” mode on the Xbox One to Sony’s Vita and PS3 vision of cloud saves.
With both triple A titles and indie games to choose from, the Nintendo Switch has a tremendous library of games and it’s only getting bigger. Whether it’s a new IP, ports of fan-favourites and sequels galore, the Switch has so much to offer. Whether it’s Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, or the incredible launch title The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, there are so many games to choose from and we’re all looking forward to when a Super Smash Bros. game is released on the system!
But today, we’re not going to be talking about the best games for the Nintendo Switch. Instead, we’ll be focusing on some lesser known aspects of the console and there’s so much more to say about Nintendo’s newest system. Today, we’re tackling the features that only the pros know about. Without further ado, let’s check out some amazing hidden features of the Nintendo Switch! Here’s 10 Things Only Pro Gamers Know About The NINTENDO SWITCH

Two alternate scenes from How Jurassic World Should Have Ended. Often with our larger HISHE episodes we write way too many scenes and lots of jokes have to get dropped so we can produce the episode in a “reasonable” amount of time. Sometimes these dropped scenes just don’t go with the overall flow of the cartoon or they’re too large in scale to complete. This is two of those scenes that we talked about a lot but didn’t know quite where to put them since we had a very specific structure to our Jurassic World HISHE. We hope you enjoy!

This animation shows the Messier 101 (Pinwheel) Galaxy, with simulated rotation, in visible, then infrared, then X-ray, and finally all three combined.
M101 is a comparable in size to the Milky Way. The disk is 100 billion solar masses, and the central bulge of about 3 billion solar masses. M101 is rich is pinkish star forming regions, many of which are very large and bright. Unlike most spiral galaxies, M101spiral shape is notably asymmetrical. This is due to the tidal forces from interactions with its companion galaxies. These gravitational interactions compress interstellar hydrogen gas, which then triggers strong star formation activity in M101’s spiral arms.
