Space Jam, starring NBA legend Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes is a very strange beast and a puzzling piece of 90s nostalgia. Based on an Air Jordan Super Bowl commercial, the movie finds a VERY weird reason to connect Mike to the likes of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig and more for a game of basketball versus some giant alien bugs. The movie definitely raises a lot of questions. Like what’s up with Lola Bunny? Why doesn’t Bugs Bunny ever use the “rule book” trick again. Why was Michael Jordan the only player to be recruited?
