في العاصمة البلجيكية بروكسل، احتل لاعبي المنتخب السعودي المراكز الأولى في بطولتين مختلفتين من بطولات Brussels Challenge Major Edition 2023. حيث حاز اللاعب luminousRage على لقب بطولة لعبة Tekken7 بعد فوزه على البريطاني Joka، وظفر اللاعب SlashoSlash بلقب بطولة لعبة Guilty Gear Strive بعد فوزه على السويدي Leffen.
استطاع الفريق النسائي في بطولة موسم الجيمرز IESF Asian Championship الخاصة بلعبة Counter Strike: Global أن يتأهل إلى بطولة كأس العالم الذي سيقام في رومانيا في شهر أغسطس المقبل. وأيضًا فريق الذكور السعودي الوطني الذي كان له نصيب في تأهله لبطولة كأس العالم في رومانيا.
أول فريق نسائي سعودي للعبة Counter-Strike: Global يكشفه نادي VALARCLUB وقد تم تعيينه كممثلاً للمنتخب السعودي في بطولة الاتحاد الدولي IESF Asian Championship 2023 وتتكون تشكيلة الفريق من اللاعبات xRoodyy ,LayanVII ,rzo ,Elo ,XRTTO بالإضافة إلى المدرب نواف الحبابي ومديرة الفريق huwaida. اليوم، بدأت منافسات البطولة وستستمر إلى 17 يوليو بإستضافة المملكة العربية السعودية في الحدث الكبير موسم الجيمرز وبمشاركة أربعة منتخبات أخرى من قارة آسيا. تُقدر قيمة جوائز البطولة بـ 12,500 دولار أمريكي.
نطلقت يوم الخميس منافسات بطولة Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege، والتي تُعد خامس بطولات منافسات النخبة ضمن موسم الجيمرز: أرض الأبطال، أكبر حدث للألعاب والرياضات الإلكترونية على مستوى العالم. وقد تنافس 8 فرق من محترفي اللعبة الشهيرة على مدار 4 أيام.
أعلن الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم فيفا الأربعاء، عن اختيار السعودي سامي الجابر قائد فريق الهلال والمنتخب السعودي الأول لكرة القدم سابقًا، سفيرًا لحدث بطولات كأس العالم FIFA 23 والذي يُقام لأول مرة في المملكة العربية السعودية.
استطاع المنتخب السعودي أن يحقق النصر في دور المجموعات لبطولة كأس العالم للمنتخبات FIFAe Nations CUP وذلك بتأهله لدور الثمانية.
