In 1970s Lahore, a fourteen-year-old girl named Pari dreams of becoming a pilot, crafting paper planes and studying the life of Amelia Earhart. Pari’s six-year-old sister Mehr is unaware of the traditions and barriers that lie in the path of the women from this family. Pari and Mehr’s mother Leila was married as a child to Daniyal, a man significantly older than her, and has learned to conform to her role within the home. However, when Daniyal brings home a wedding shoe for Pari with an uncharacteristic amount of excitement, tensions begin to rise between the parents. Coming soon to Netflix.
