We’re in for a really exciting summer, guys, because season three of Stranger Things will premiere exclusively via Netflix’s web streaming service on the 4th of July.
The science-fiction-horror series – which has been away for more than a year and a half, incidentally – is one of the most popular shows of the last decade, with millions of fans around the world watching the adventures of a group of friends in the 1980s, in the mysterious fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana.
Season three has got a lot of people talking – and, as you would expect, that has resulted in theories being conceived about what it might have in store for us.
In this video, we’ll take you through some of the best and most interesting theories we’ve seen.
The theories in question are; that we’ll meet more test subjects from the Hawkins National Laboratory, that there’ll be an invasion from the Soviet Union, that the “Suzie” in the title of episode one is Max and Billy’s mother (and she’ll be important), that Doctor Brenner will return in some capacity, that Erica Sinclair knows all about the Hawkins National Laboratory, that there’ll be an obvious influence from George A. Romero, that there will be lots of rats, that someone whose name starts with the letter “B” will die, that the main characters will have a big fall out, and that the big climactic battle will take place at the mall.
