In this video I take a first look at the HTC Flyer, the latest entry into the tablet wars. The Flyer sports a 7 inch display with a resolution of 1024×600, a 1.5GHz single core processor, 1GB of RAM and a 2 megapixel front facing camera along with a 5 megapixel rear facing camera. It also supports some interesting things on the software side with Android 2.4 Gingerbread with HTC Sense, OnLive, handwriting capabilities via HTC Scribe and the HTC Watch app.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, Neo and Pro Overview

In this video I take a first look at the new lineup for Sony Ericssson for 2011 that was announced at Mobile World Congress today.

First they announced the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, a mid-range Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone with a 3.7 inch display with Sony Bravia graphics. The specs include a 1Ghz 2nd generation Snapdragon processor along with a rear facing 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and a front facing 2 megapixel camera.

Next they announced the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro, a very similar phone to the Neo with the addition of a slide out keyboard.

The biggest phone announced was the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, the so called PlayStation Phone. This features a 4 inch touchscreen along with slide out controls similar to the PSPgo.

In this episode of D3Live I take an indepth look at the second generation Samsung Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tab 10.1. The Galaxy S 2 features a 4.3″ Super AMOLED Plus display with a resolution of 480×800. It also features a dual core 1GHz processor and support for NFC.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a big departure from the original Galaxy Tab with a 10″ display with a resolution of 1280×800 and the same processor from the Galaxy S II. The Tab 2 should launch with Android 3.0 Honeycomb without any custom skins or modifications.
