Windows 8 Tablet OS First Look

Today at the D9 conference Microsoft gave us our first look at Windows 8 for tablets. There is a lot to like about Windows 8 on tablets including support for ARM processors such as the Nvidia Tegra 2, a new version of the Metro UI from Windows Phone 7 specific to the Windows 8 tablet edition and much more.

This morning Apple announced that on Monday June 6th Steve Jobs will unveil Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, iOS 5 for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad as well as iCloud “Apple’s upcoming cloud services offering”.
