Which brings us to a discussion of Kickstarter (and Indiegogo) as a force in modern Indie filmmaking. More project by prominent names are getting crowd funded – most recently, “Con Man” a web series by Alan Tudyk of Firefly.
On the blockbuster side of things, we have confirmation that Lex Luthor is bald. And it’s a relief to see that Jesse Eisenberg has a reasonably normal-shaped head: http://goo.gl/FNIzKi

كثير هم النجوم الذين يمتعونا بموهبتهم وأعمالهم الفنية، ثم يختفون فجأة ويبتعدون عن الساحة الفنية ويحرمون جمهورهم من فنهم ومنهم.
شيرين سيف النصر:
مسلسل «أصعب قرار» كان آخر عمل فني قدمته الفنانة شيرين سيف النصر، والذي عرض عام 2006، ومنذ ذلك الوقت لم تظهر الفنانة المصرية، حتى أنها لم تعلن اعتزالها.
إيمان الطوخي:
لم تظهر الفنانة إيمان الطوخي في أي عمل فني منذ عام 2003، وعللت -في تصريحات صحفية- ابتعادها عن الفن بأنها غير راضية عن وجود دخلاء على المهنة أساءوا لها.
عائشة الكيلاني:
آخر ظهور للفنانة عائشة الكيلاني كان في مسلسل «أبو ضحكة جنان» عام 2009، حيث قدمت دور جدة الفنان إسماعيل ياسين، ولم تظهر في أي عمل فني منذ ذلك الوقت.
ريم المحمودي:
ريم المحمودي هي مغنية إماراتية لقبت بـ «فيروز الخليج»، وقد اعتزلت الفن بعد أخر ألبوم لها الذي حمل عنوان «وينها»، وذلك بعد زواجها من سالم الهندي، مدير شركة روتانا للمرئيات والصوتيات.
عبير الشرقاوي:
ابتعدت الفنانة المصرية عبير الشرقاوي، ابنة المخرج جلال الشرقاوي عن التمثيل، بعد أن ارتدت الحجاب بفترة، قامت خلالها بتقديم عدد من المسلسلات الدينية إلى أن اعتزلت نهائيا.
جالا فهمي:
آخر أعمال الفنانة جالا فهمي كان فيلم «أول مرة تحب يا قلبي» والذي عرض عام 2003، ثم اختفت نهائيا إلى أن عادت عام 2011 في محاولة لتقديم فيلم سينمائي جديد اسمه «عذاب الرجال»، إلا أنه لم يظهر للنور بعد.
نادين:
قدمت الفنانة نادين فوازير «جيران الهنا» مع الفنان وائل نور، ثم شاركت الفنان هاني رمزي فيلم «صعيدي رايح جاي» عام 2001، والذي كان آخر أعمالها، حيث اعتزلت الحياة الفنية بعد زواجها وإنجابها.
محسنة توفيق:
آخر أعمال الفنانة محسنة توفيق كان مسلسل «المرسى والبحار» عام 2005 مع الفنان يحيي الفخراني، ومنذ ذلك الوقت لم يعرض لها أي عمل فني حتى الآن.
ناهد يسري:
عرفت الفنانة ناهد يسري بأدوارها الجريئة والإغراء الصارخ، إلى أن تعرضت لحادث سيارة ببيروت في السبيعينيات، أصاب وجهها بتشوهات بسيطة، مما جعلها تبتعد عن السينما، لكنها عادت للمجال الفنى في أوائل الثمانينات بأدوار بعيدة عن الإغراء، ثم قررت اعتزال الفن تماما عام 1990.
ليلى شعير:
آخر أعمال الفنانة ليلى شعير كان فيلم «ما تيجي نرقص» بطولة الفنانة يسرا وإخراج إيناس الدغيدي، ثم اعتزلت المجال الفني عام 2006.
حنان:
المطربة حنان اكتشافها الفنان عمار الشريعي، وألحقها بفرقته الموسيقية «الأصدقاء»، وقدمت حفلات وجولات غنائية في فرنسا وبريطانيا وأمريكا والبلاد العربية مرات كثيرة، حصلت على جائزة أفضل مطربة في العالم العربي من فرنسا، إلا أنها قررت الاعتزال فجأة عام 1997.
مي عبدالنبي:
الفنانة مي عبد النبي بدأت التمثيل في النصف الثاني من السبعينيات، ثم ابتعدت فترة عن التمثيل في بدايات التسعينيات ثم عادت مرة اخرى للتمثيل بعد حوالي عشر سنوات، وكان مسلسل «أمير الشرق عثمان دقنة» عام 2007 آخر ظهور لها.
