رحلة من الألم والمعاناة تعيشها الفنانة الجميلة سمية الألفي منذ أكثر من عام دخلت خلاله غرفة العمليات أربع مرات وكانت أحدثها الجراحة التي أجرتها مؤخرا في ألمانيا
وقضت بسببها سبع ساعات داخل غرفة العمليات..
سمية التي تحلم بأن تتمكن من الجلوس علي كرسي.. لم تفقد الأمل خلال رحلة الألم واعتبرت ما حدث لها نعمة من الله
وتؤكد انها محظوظة بحياتها وبأسرتها وبالفنان فاروق الفيشاوي الذي رغم انفصالهما لم يتخل عنها لحظة واحدة.. وأنها لا تفكر في العودة للتمثيل
وتضيف سمية: منذ عام ونصف العام شعرت بآلام شديدة في قدمي اليسري وأجريت فحوصات وتحاليل عديدة في مصر وسويسرا وألمانيا حتي اكتشف الأطباء
انني أعاني من حالة غريبة ونادرة تتمثل في وجود كيس ضخم تكون من سائل النخاع الشوكي ويضغط علي العصب ولم يستطع الأطباء الاقتراب منه لخطورة ذلك علي حياتي
فخضعت لأول جراحة وفشلت ثم خضعت لجراحتين كانتا عبارة عن تجارب بسبب ندرة الحالة وقام الخبير الألماني ماير بتركيب مسامير وشرائح في العمود الفقري
ولكن بعد شهرين عاودني الألم بصورة غير محتملة ولم أستطع الحركة إلا علي كرسي متحرك
اما الجراحة الأخيرة فقد كانت الأصعب بالنسبة لي وقام بها الخبير المصري الألماني د. ياسر الليموني
الذي قال لي انه من المستحيل أن يقترب أحد من هذا الكيس لأن مجرد فتحه سوف يؤدي إلي انتشار سائل النخاع الشوكي في الجسم كله مما يسبب الوفاة..

وقام بمحاولات لسحب السائل بإدخال حقنة في ظهري.. وقام بنزع المسامير والشرائح التي وضعها الخبير الألماني وبقيت في غرفة العمليات سبع ساعات
قاموا خلالها بتكسير بعض فقرات العمود الفقري وقال لي الطبيب ان هذه العملية ربما تقضي علي 07٪ من الألم لكن يظل هناك 03٪ من الألم يمكن التغلب عليها بالمسكنات

ما أصعب ما واجهك في مرضك؟
حجم الألم الذي تعرضت له.. وهي آلام مرعبة ظل الأطباء يعطونني »حقن مورفين« بعد كل جراحة لمدة شهرين والتي يدمنها الجسم ثم أخضع بعدها لبرنامج تدريبي حتي أقلع عنها..
وقد أدركت كيف وقف الله بجانبي وساندني.
ألم تفقدي الأمل في بعض اللحظات؟
لم يحدث لأن إيماني بالله كبير وحين كنت أدخل غرفة العمليات كنت أشعر ان الله معي.. وانني أرضي بقضائه ومستعدة للموت في أي لحظة..
سمية الألفي (23 يوليو 1953) هى ممثلة مصرية كان اول ازواجها فاروق الفيشاوى لمدة حوالى 16 عامًا أو أكثر جمعت شمل النجمين في عش زوجية واحد،
بعد أن أتما زواجهما في 7 فبراير عام 1974، في سن مبكر، قبل حتى أن ينالا قسطا ضئيلا من الشهرة على شاشة السينما أو التلفزيون، لأن الحب بينهما كان أقوى من أن يفكرا فيما يحمله لهما المستقبل،
وأزمات الفن والفنان وحالة عدم الاستقرار التي يعاني منها في بداياته، لأنه بطبيعة عمله ليس موظفا حكوميا بأجر ثابت.

بدأت قصة حب فاروق الفيشاوي وسمية الألفي بسبب الفن أيضًا، وكان المسرح أول شاهد على لقائهما وتعارفهما، وكذلك مهد شرارة الحب الأولى التي أشعلت فتيل الغرام بينهما حتى اعترفا به وقررا الارتباط.
