Black Holes and Other Dark Matters

In February 2016, the Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory (LIGO) announced discovery of the merger of two black holes, each of which weighed around 30 times the mass of the Sun. In addition to being the first detection of gravitational waves, it was also the first observational evidence of stellar mass black holes above 25 solar masses. Shortly thereafter, it was speculated that these black holes might make up the dark matter that has long been known to exist in galaxies (like our own Milky Way). Dr. Kamionkowski will discuss this possibility and explain why this hypothesis may or may not work.

When we heard that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was going to feature every character from the previous games along with some newcomers, we were as hyped up as humanly possible. We were literally jumping off of walls with excitement. With a roster of more than 70 characters officially announced and even more coming through DLC, we figured we might as well take a look at where each character came from and how they might fair in the upcoming game.

We’ll dive deep into the history of the characters from the original Super Smash Bros. for the N64 all the way to Super Smash Bros. 4 for Wii U and we’ll even take a look at the 12 new characters in Super Smash Bros.
