Hawa Hassan, author of the new cookbook “In Bibi’s Kitchen,” is making beef suqaar, a bright, aromatic Somali beef stew. This recipe, which means “small one” in Arabic, features small bites of beef and flavors of lime, cilantro, turmeric, and cumin.
