We’re proud to announce Google’s $3.2 million Global Impact Award to Institute for Veterans and Military Families, The Posse Foundation, Student Veterans of America, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. These organizations will develop the first-ever comprehensive nationwide analysis of veterans’ education to identify which programs, services and policies are most effective at helping veterans graduate. Based on the findings, the grants will also expand access to successful campus interventions.

Using Google Earth, Dr. Julian Bayliss discovered a hidden rainforest and more than a dozen new plant and animal species in Northern Mozambique. But for Dr. Bayliss, and Flora and Fauna International (FFI), the journey is far from over. The team is currently working together with the government in Mozambique to create a long term conservation strategy that will protect Mount Mabu and benefit the local community.
