It’s a practice as old as gaming itself. Ever since consoles were introduced, there have been exclusives that go along with it. Along with exciting new hardware, new consoles have always tried to use exclusives to lure new players in. It divided gamers into an age old war of who’s console was superior and, at the end of the day, it would always come down to the exclusives. You can picture it now, you arguing with your friends about how your console exclusive titles surpass theirs.
The thing is, this has gone on for decades. Back then, you had people arguing which to get: Playstation or N64? Which game was better: Legend of Zelda or Legend of Dragoon? Since we don’t have infinite time on our hands, we must ultimately agree to disagree when it comes to which exclusives were the best. However, we certainly can have a conversation about which exclusives were so good they should have been more open. Well, that might defeat the whole purpose of an exclusive, but you get the idea. Imagine if the selfish game developers would share their games with all consoles? Today, we will be looking at some of the best console exclusives of all-time and how they should have been more available to gamers everywhere.

Competitive gaming has never been more popular than it is now. With streaming, Let’s Plays, speed runs and walkthroughs, it is clear people want to watch people play games. For hundreds of years now, the modern Olympics have been the event for athletes to compete against other nations to test their mettle, their strength and dexterity. In the past, the Olympics have been about sportsmanship and national pride. Today, they are more about who is doping and who is cheating. Not to put a negative spin on the games, but with evolving times, there comes change in the games themselves. Of course, not all games are made equal, and not all eSports games should be included in the Olympics. So today, we will be looking at 10 eSports games that should be in the Olympics, and 5 that should not.
