The age old debate over the best battle royale video game continues to this day. It feels like Fortnite and PUBG have been duking it out for battle royale supremacy for decades when it actually hasn’t even been a year yet. On the surface, these two games look very similar, but so do tons of other battle royale games. They all blend together survival, exploration and scavenging with the goal of being the last man or squad standing, but today, we’ll be focusing on the major differences between Fortnite and PUBG.

One of the more noticeable differences right of the bat is the ability to build structures. In Fortnite, you could build defenses while in PUBG, you have to rely solely on your environment. The shooting mechanics in PUBG are much more realistic and difficult to master compared to Fortnite. In Fortnite, you could land anywhere on the map no matter where the airbus goes, but that’s not the case in PUBG. PUBG has 2 big maps while Fortnite only has 1 relatively small map in comparison with rumors of a new second map. In PUBG, you could customize your weapons with magazine, barrel and scope attachments, but there are no such options in Fortnite. Disney is commonly perceived as being a fun for all the family type of company. Which is probably why dark fan theories of Disney films often pick up and make the movies kind of unsettling.

We hear about them all the time, but today we’re going in-depth, we’re going to be talking about the strange and depressing links between Frozen, Tangled and the Little Mermaid. We’re also going to delve into the time that The Incredibles may have deliberately parroted Ayn Randian philosophy. Some of these fan theories speculate on the true identities of some characters. For example what if Dr. Facilier is really Tiana’s father? It’s the only non-magical way he could be so aware of Tiana and all her hopes and dreams. What if Mufasa became a rain god? It makes sense seeing as the pridelands completely dried up for as long as Scar was in charge, only for the rain to pour the second Scar is killed.

We have some classics like the theory of Jessie being owned by Andy’s mother back in the day. Not only that but we also philosophise on whether Finding Nemo is all a metaphor for Marlon’s grief, and if Prince Charming is simply a metaphor for Snow White dying. We also wonder whether the entire city of Agrabah is actually part of a post-apocalyptic wasteland, after all how else would the genie know all those pop culture references?

As popular as superhero movies are these days, it’s definitely fair to say that the characters in them are very rarely completely faithful depictions of the versions presented in comic books. They often look completely different, have different origins, possess different powers, or have different personalities – in some cases, all four of those differences apply.
Believe it or not, this notion even applies in the incredibly popular Marvel Cinematic Universe – including in the case of the franchise’s heroic characters.
In this video, we’ll be taking a closer look at that particular idea. The following MCU heroes were completely changed for their respective movies; The franchise’s flagship character Tony Stark AKA Iron Man who’s played by Robert Downey Jr., the Guardians of the Galaxy’s leader Peter Quill AKA Star-Lord who’s played by Chris Pratt, the powerful android Vision who’s played by Paul Bettany, the Guardians of the Galaxy’s muscle Drax the Destroyer who’s played by Dave Bautista, former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and scientist Hank Pym AKA the first Ant-Man who’s played by Michael Douglas, the twins Wanda and Pietro Maximoff AKA Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver who are played by Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson respectively, the incredibly skilled archer Clint Barton AKA Hawkeye who’s played by Jeremy Renner, the perfectly designed being Adam Warlock who hasn’t yet been cast, the Asgardian warrior Valkyrie who’s played by Tessa Thompson, and the hilarious rock-like warrior Korg who’s played by Taika Waititi.

Deadpool 2 is just around the corner and we’re getting really excited to see the merc with the mouth return to the big screen with Cable and the X Force. Before that one hits though, we thought we’d go back and take a look at the first movie in the series and specifically try to find a whole bunch of secret references and easter eggs you likely missed. There are a ton in the movie and we didn’t get them all, but we did get quite a bit.

Some of them are obscure tiny details in the background you likely would have never noticed, but once you do see them, they’re going to be hard to miss. There’s a few callouts to other mutants from the comics and a certain mercenary bar is pulled straight from the comics.

Being an extremely meta film, there’s a ton of references to Ryan Reynolds,Hugh Jackman and their previous work both in and out of the Marvel films. Look out for visual gags at the Green Lantern and some love for Wolverine, who in the comics shares a past with the merc with the mouth. There’s also some love for a certain web slinger, despite the fact that he’s at home at another studio these days.

The film also pokes fun at the X Men films and other popular bits of cinema and pop culture throughout. Hello Kitty, 1960s Batman, Ferris Bueller and various celebrities are called out and referenced, and Wade Wilson comes very close to naming some MCU characters-stopping just shy for copyright reasons. A lot can change between the drawing board and the big screen. Even superhero films — usually based in decades worth of art and imagery— can look entirely different during production. Comic book movies are so popular that most of what audiences get becomes iconic, but few people realize how different things can turn out. Discarded concept art is a fantastic window into what could have been… and sometimes it’s much better that way.

For this list, we’ve collected some of the weirdest concept art out there to see just how much worse our favorite superhero movies could have been. To be clear, most of these entries only make the list because of how the art might fit into the films themselves, and not because of their artistic merit.

Most of these pieces are amazingly well-crafted, and are in no way “bad” art — they just aren’t always appropriate to the final product. These artworks either don’t suit the characters within, might clash with the tone of the films, or they simply feel… off.
