There are a lot of video games on the market and, for the most part, the majority of them have some sort of items available for use in game. Not only are items an integral part of gameplay when it comes to most games, but there are a lot of developers out there that enjoy giving players a variety of items to use. Typically, there are a lot of items that players love and actively seek out as they will help them in their quest to finish the game.

Then there are some items that will leave players scratching their heads and wondering what the heck developers were thinking when they came up with said item. For the most part, these item are just once off, joke items that developers thought would be funny. These items are usually a novelty on the first playthrough and then are quickly discarded once they cease being humorous. It’s all in good fun and, usually, it just becomes an inside joke between players and developers; a shared yet weird experience, in most cases.

Of course, there are some developers who love to troll their fanbase more than others with a variety of jokes and strange items throughout their games. However, it’s still funny to come across a strange item in an otherwise serious game. If you have ever played Borderlands 2 or Ratchet and Clank, you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about. The items on this list only make sense if they’re taken with a grain of salt.

Donkey Kong’s Nintendo journey has been just about as long as Mario’s. He has followed him from the arcade to home consoles and has a pretty great franchise of his own. Deep down, Donkey Kong has accumulated some pretty crazy secrets over the years and we’re unraveling them all for you now!

Mario usually cheers over his fallen victims at the end of games, but in Donkey Kong Jr., Mario is the dead one at the end of the game. An angel halo even hovers over his head. Donkey Kong has been through his fair share of battles, but nothing like when he took on the master himself, King Kong. Donkey Kong has also done battle with a number of rip-off games who were pulled from arcades and off store shelves. One of Donkey Kong Country’s toughest levels is the fast-moving Mine Cart Carnage, but there was a way to skip a majority of the cart ride. Collecting rainbow coins was the ultimate objective in Donkey Kong 64, but players really missed out on a hidden coin that wasn’t discovered until years later. Donkey Kong has a secret video game addiction of his own and has a few favorite games he loves to play. One secret character many people don’t know about is Bluster Kong and his evil ways. The character was introduced in the official TV show and is known for creating all the barrels Donkey Kong smashes through the years. Watch to see all of these secrets and more!

Marvel Infinity War’s debut finally brought us the might that Thanos of Titan was hyped to bring ever since the end credits scene within the 2012’s Avengers film. We didn’t get to see much of Thanos’ natural prowess before obtaining the other stones, but what evidence is there to justify a high ranking amongst some of the mightiest Avengers like Thor, the God of Thunder, or the Hulk, the strongest one there is?

Heavy spoilers ahead, so if you have not watched Infinity War, it would be a good idea to click off this video. Much of the film’s plot beyond what the trailers unveiled will be talked about in this video. Alongside important plot points that occurred within Thor: Ragnarok and Age of Ultron.

Although the comic book Thanos and cinematic universe Thanos are quite different not only in goals, personality, abilities, but also their power. So, one might think that it would be nonsensical to attempt to gauge the power of Thanos from what little we saw from him fight without the aid of the infinity stones. However, the comic books and the movie alike has shown us characters that Thanos stand above, not only in strength, but durability, combat, and intelligence as well. Whether it be the God of Thunder, Thor, the massively faster than light herald of Galactus, the Silver Surfer, or even Odin himself, there are quite many characters which Thanos has fought on par with, if not outright decimated without the aid of the infinity stones. It is quite up in the air of how strong Thanos is exactly within the MCU, but taking a look into the comics may reveal where he would logically rank in comparison to the heroes and villains alike.
