By now, most gamers are aware of the console wars, if they’re not already entrenched in the console wars themselves. Whether a gamer chooses the Nintendo Switch, the Microsoft Xbox One X or the Sony PlayStation 4 Pro is a personal choice for many gamers which is not made lightly, but what happens when gamers feel like switching sides in the console wars?

Since the console a gamer chooses can feel like an extension of their personality, some gamers may feel guilty making the jump to a different console brand than the one they previously chose. If you’re one of the gamers who turned traitor on their previously most beloved brand of console, never fear! You’re definitely not alone. For many gamers, taking sides in the console wars is quickly becoming a thing of the past due, in part, to the numerous exclusive features every console offers. In short, why not own them all?

Changes in Hollywood happen all the time, but when it comes to a big actor or director, headlines are typically made the drastic changes. While creative differences is the go-to excuse these days, there have been some pretty outlandish reasons movie directors have been fired over the years.

Surprisingly, a number of these firings are over big-budget blockbuster films including Jaws, Brave, and Moneyball. With a classic like Jaws all it took was the director to have pretty minimal knowledge of marine life. For Moneyball, the director wanted to feature a lot less Brad Pitt and a lot more real footage. With movies like the Exorcist, a director’s vision caused the whole production to change and resulted in the release of two separate movies. Sometimes directors get fired for comments they made outside the film, including Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn. These stories build up in the press even if the film companies try to keep them quiet. Michael Crichton adaptations like Jurassic Park are typically a hit, but the 13th Warrior went through a ton of changes, including an odd filming schedule. Bryan Singer has helmed some pretty epic films before, but the director pulled a disappearing act during one of his newest films. Dealing with tough actors is one thing, but Richard Stanley lost his job because of it. Imagine if you’re directing a movie and one of your lead actors decides to edit the film himself. Welcome to American History X.

American Dad was the second adult cartoon brainchild of Family Guy creator Seth Macfarlane. It first aired after the Super Bowl in 2005, and since then has found a fan base that is almost as equally passionate as Family Guy fans. It was recently renewed for it’s 16th and 17th seasons, so the Smith family aren’t going anywhere soon. It seems like fans can’t get enough of the antics of CIA agent Stan Smith, his wife Francine, his hippy daughter Hayley and her husband Jeff, the youngest son Steve, their adopted alien and fan favourite Roger, and of course the German-spy-turned-goldfish, Klaus. Fans love the show so much that they spend hours digging around for any hidden meaning in every single episode, leading to some pretty amazing theories of their own. Theories that wonder if the CIA actually knows about Roger, but has hidden him with the Smith’s knowing that they would grow to care for him, in order to keep an eye on him. Or a theory that Roger isn’t an alien at all, but actually the first born son of Stan and Francine, who fell into a depression after a traumatizing alien experience of his own. They also wonder if American Dad is all a product of Stewie’s imagination in the Family Guy world, or if the show is actually a TV show enjoyed by the Griffin Family themselves. And the theory to end all theories, some even believe that Stan died almost ten seasons ago, and we are all watching his heavenly fantasies play out. Whether or not they are true, there is no denying the sheer awesomeness of these 5 American Dad fan theories.

Back in 2012, The Walt Disney Company bought LucasFilm to add Star Wars to its ever-growing list of sub-brands.

As a result, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Yoda joined the likes of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Buzz Lightyear, Iron Man and Captain America as Disney’s flagship characters – who could have seen that coming ten years ago?!

But with that purchase came a number of changes to the Star Wars franchise – some for the better, some for the worse – and that’s what this video’s about.

The changes in question are; there’s now one Star Wars movie per year, inexperienced and indie directors are being hired to helm the movies (and usually end up being removed from their respective project), the accepted canon of the Star Wars Extended Universe is being ignored, alternate media (video games, comic books etc) are being messed with, the movies are getting digital editions, anthology/spin-off movies are becoming the norm, Disney are afraid to take chances like the earlier Star Wars movies did, there’s no longer one single person in charge of writing, the commercial success of Star Wars has gone through the roof (with “Force Friday” epitomising that), and there’s now going to be a Star Wars Land at some of Disney’s most popular theme parks in the United States.

The Fallout franchise is one of our favorite series of all-time which is surprising because it’s filled with darkness and despair. It’s a world filled to the brim with darkness, mysteries and unending torture. Really, Fallout is humanity.
For Fallout, Bethesda has crafted an experience unlike any other. They’ve managed to include so many hidden facts and secrets into the game that we highly doubt any single player has discovered them all. This franchise is bursting with opportunity, but you just need to be brave enough to search for it.
The dark truths we’ll mention in this video were gathered with immense love for Fallout’s nuclear wasteland. Some may seem obvious to the keen player who put hundreds of hours into the game while other truths may have flown right over your head.
