Social media is going crazy right now after Sony announced it’s OFFICIALLY bringing back the Playstation 1, AKA the Playstation Classic, and giving us a bunch of built in games too! Just in time for the holidays, the Playstation (PS1) is going to be dropping 20 (!!!) of your most favorite Playstation games of all time, including Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, Ridge Racer Type 4, Jumping Flash and Wild Arms. New Playstation games won’t be included of course, only the games that made Sony Playstation a console to be reckoned with in the Console Wars. Although we know 5 of the Playstation classic games they plan to include, the best Playstation games have yet to be announced! That’s why we’re here to tell you EXACTLY which retro games they’ll include. That is, unless they are insane and throw in the wrong old school games! The original Spyro The Dragon games were well loved, but were in danger of being forgotten and overlooked by newer generations of video games players. Luckily for the purple dragon’s fans, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy is set to bring the original game plus its two immediate sequels, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage and Spyro: Year Of The Dragon, to a whole new audience on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, there are some things you may not know about the game and we’re here to tell you about them.

With the original game being 20 years old, it was inevitable that the graphics were in need of an update and the developers at Toys For Bob took what Insomniac did in 1998 and brought them to 2018. We’ll also tell you about how the voice of Spongebob Squarepants helped out, as well as talking about downloads, music and how the game was delayed. It’s almost October and that means many of us are queuing up our movie selection to include all our favorite horror flicks. There are plenty of amazing classics to choose from, along with some pretty awful duds, and you might be surprised to discover that some of your personal favorites contain a number of secrets and Easter Eggs even you didn’t know about.

For instance, Michael Myers’ mask has haunted many a dream since it made its first appearance in John Carpenter’s 1978 classic Halloween, but do you know whose face the mask is supposed to belong to? Sam Raimi has managed to fit his Oldsmobile into every movie he’s made, including the classic Evil Dead Trilogy, which also features a visual reference to another horror icon. Invasion of the Body Snatchers has a number of remakes, but the 1978 version might be the best and it manages to honor its predecessor in a creative way. Jaws might be Steven Spielberg’s breakthrough effort, but it wasn’t Spielberg’s first film and he found a way to fit a reference to that film into his 1975 classic. The Kubrick/King feud regarding The Shining is well known by this point, but did you know Kubrick fit in a specific reference as a middle finger of sorts to King? And while Predator 2 might not be a great movie, it’s one of the earliest examples of a MCU-style reference.

With the recent release of Matt Groening’s newest show Disenchantment, expectations were high and the hope of a Futurama cameo even higher. There has been a giant, Bender shaped hole in the hearts and TV schedules of Futurama fans ever since the show was cancelled years ago, and again when it was removed from Netflix last year. But with Disenchantment, a classically Groening send up and simultaneous tribute to the fantasy genre, the hope was re-ignited that there might be some cross over between the two shows. And there is actually some evidence to prove that Dreamland, the fictional medieval city in which Disenchantment takes place, could very well belong to the same universe as Futurama! With a mysterious blimp in the first episode, fans began to speculate that there was more to these Dark Ages than meets the eye, and that Dreamland could actually have been built from the ruins of New York City, after it was destroyed by flying saucers in Bender’s Big Score. They wonder if the rest of the world remained in tact, but because of the influence of religion, Dreamland and the future site of New New York remained behind the rest of the developing world. After all, all we have seen in Disenchantment is Dreamland, and nothing outside of its walls so far. It’s possible that the blimp is trying to tell us something much bigger, and that Groening is using the Dark Ages theme as a way to make a political statement about religion versus technology!

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider more than delivered the goods for fans of Lara Croft when it came out in September 2018. The latest installment of the Tomb Raider franchise was packed with fun and excitement, but that didn’t mean it’s all sunshine and rainbows. Today, we’re going to tell you about that.

If you thought the amount of time and money spent making the game meant it would be free of bugs and glitches, you’re sadly wrong. YouTuber MrGreenToS found an annoying glitch and we’ll tell you about that. We’ll also show you a problem PC gamers have faced, but which Xbox and PlayStation players are fortunate to have avoided. We’ll also talk about how the game was made and how development issues between Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal didn’t help. There’s also how the absence of chief writer Rhianna Pratchett affected matters, as well as the difficulties Dr. Croft finds herself in throughout the game.
