ScreenRanters assemble! We were recently treated to a brand-new photo from behind the scenes of Avengers: Endgame. This photo shows a special moment with the MCU’s biggest power-couple, Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. Liz Georgoff was the person responsible for unleashing this snapshot. It captures a strong and intimate moment between the husband and wife. The photo’s original purpose was to be used as promotional material in the build up to Endgame. Yet it wasn’t used at all. In today’s video, we’ll be taking a good, hard look at the photograph. The photo provides a little insight, before the MCU landscape was massively changed once Endgame hit the cinema! We chat about what the photo is, what it represents, and why it’s been hidden from the public.

But we’re not done yet ScreenRant fans! Nope, you lucky bunch! We’ll also be taking a gander at the history of Pepper and Tony’s relationship. From its humble beginnings to realizing their love for each other and starting a family. We start at 2008’s Iron Man, then all the way to 2019’s Endgame. If you are like us, and watch basically every single Pixar film that comes out because of how flippin’ awesome they are, you’ve probably noticed that there is someone who sounds pretty familiar in pretty much everyone of the studio’s films.

That, is John Ratzenberger. Ya know, Cliff the postal worker from the long running television show, Cheers. John Ratzenberger’s tenure in Pixar films first started back in 1995 with the first full length feature the studio put out, the much lauded Toy Story. At the time, Ratzenberger was relatively fresh off the success of his run on Cheers, where he portrayed Cliff Calvin, the know-it-all postal worker, from 1982 until 1992.

Now, over the years and after several Pixar release, you might have wondered why exactly he is in so many of these animated films, and you are not the only person who has thought that. We certainly have as well! According to writer and producer Andrew Stanton, while out at press junkets for the original Toy Story, members of Pixar reportedly had so much fun with Ratzenberger and enjoyed his presence to such a degree, that the animation house decided to try to work with him as much as possible on future projects.

So we dug into it and figured out the story behind Ratzenberger’s inclusion in these films, as well as some of his lesser known roles in Pixar movies that you may not have noticed. Watch to learn about this fascinating story and dive into the world of Pixar.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters has smashed his way to cinemas to once again, fight the Three-Headed Dragon Ghidorah and the ancient dinosaur Rodan. Helping him out is the benevolent Titan Mothra, all which are from classic Toho films. While we were too busy being entertained by all the monster carnage, you may have missed the dozens of easter eggs and references hidden away in the movie.

There are quite a few references to the old Toho films of old. Toho is the Japanese company that produced the monster movies which featured the likes of Godzilla, Ghidorah, Rodan, Mothra and more. You can catch titles of old movies like “Destroy all Monsters” hidden away in the film while nods to old monsters and movies can be scattered around or implied. Plus there are more than a few nods towards Skull Island, as this movie and Kong: Skull Island are in the same universe and the two will go head to head in next year’s film, Godzilla versus Kong.

There are references to non-Toho films as well, such as nods to The Exorcist and The Thing that you likely didn’t catch. The filmmakers also implied that the Loch Ness Monster is also in fact, a Titan and now we want to see such a crossover event happen. There’s also plenty of references to old Godzilla films, such as parallels between Dr. Serizawa and the inclusion of one Steve Martin-no, not that one. Of course, the after credit scene implies big things are coming-literally-with the possible tease that Mecha Ghidorah is coming soon.
