25 Most Paused Movie Moments Ever

Fans can’t resist the temptation to pause these movie moments and just stare for a while! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

Hollywood has provided us with some truly memorable moments over the years – and they’ve been memorable for a variety of different reasons;

The shocking stabbing of Marion Crane in the Psycho shower scene, the startling revelation that Darth Vader was Luke Skywalker’s father in The Empire Strikes Back, and the joyous “flying” scene from Titanic – just to give a few examples.

Others are memorable because something appeared on screen – even if it was just for a split second – that, for one reason or another, viewers couldn’t take their eyes off.

In several cases, that resulted in people hitting the pause button to take a closer look – and some moments have become famous for being paused in that exact way.

In this video, we’ll take you through the most paused movie moments ever.

The moments in question are from the following movies; Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Ghostbusters, Boogie Nights, Thor: The Dark World, Iron Man 2, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Back-Up Plan, There’s Something About Mary, The Graduate, The Cabin in the Woods, Teen Wolf, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Tron, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Deadpool 2, Fight Club, American Reunion, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, The Wizard of Oz, The Rescuers, Knocked Up, Three Men and a Baby, and Basic Instinct.

Spider-Man: Far From Home’s Ending Explained

The mid- and post-credits scenes of Spider-Man: Far From Home could send shockwaves throughout the entire MCU! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

Welcome back to ScreenRant — quick warning! Since we’re talking about the end credits here — there will be some major spoilers ahead!

After Avengers: Endgame left us dry and craving an epic post-credits scenes, Spider-Man: Far From Home really delivered the goods with the traditional MCU mid-credits and post-credits scene. While we’re still gathering our jaws off the floor, we may have seen some of the greatest post-credit scenes in Marvel history.

In just a couple of minutes of film, the mid and post-credits scenes in Spider-Man: Far From Home managed to leave us in awe, provide clues for the future, and set up multiple movies in the process. So much was packed into each scene — so let’s just jump right in with the mid-credits scene first. You know — the one that caused you to drop your popcorn — if you actually had any left.

After a thrilling flight through the city, Peter drops MJ off on the street, only to have their moment disrupted with a breaking news segment. Thanks to manipulated footage from Mysterio, Spider-Man is made out to look like a villain and on top of that — Spidey’s secret identity is outed to the masses. On top of all this information, Parker delivers the same great “What the…” line his Aunt May did back in Homecoming. Of course, this one and the implications are on a much bigger scale.

But what does it all mean?! What films have been set up for Phase Four?! And could there really be a multiverse? Let’s swing right in and break everything down from what we just learned in Spider-Man: Far From Home!

20 Horror Movie Secrets Hidden In Gravity Falls

Here are 20 horror movie references that were shown or alluded to in Gravity Falls! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

When it comes to Disney Channel cartoons, nothing gets much more darker than Gravity Falls. The show is set in a town filled with mysterious monsters, horrifying creatures, and plenty of scares. Naturally, show creator Alex Hirsch has tapped into the vast world of horror movies for a lot of inspiration.

Let’s check out some the obvious references and deep cuts to classic horror movies like Nightmare on Elm Street, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and several others! The very first episode featured a horror reference right away! The Gill Man was the main monster seen in the Creature From the Black Lagoon series which featured three movies in total from 1954 to 1956. For a more modern-day reference, you can spot a Gill-Man inspired creature in the 2017 film “The Shape of Water”. This is the closest thing to a remake we’ve ever gotten of the classic films because they’ve either all been cancelled or stuck in development without any real progress. And while many younger viewers may associate the invisible man with the Hotel Transylvania series, the character itself dates all the way back to the classic Universal Monster movies. The original Invisible Man was released in 1933 with four direct sequels getting released throughout the 1940s. Spin-offs and inspired movies have followed with Kevin Bacon’s Hollow Man being one of the more prominent releases in the year 2000.

Watch to see all of these great horror movie references and several others including films like Jaws and Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.

10 Spider-Man: Far From Home Theories That Were Totally Wrong

Fans ran wild with theories about Spider-Man: Far From Home that didn’t come true! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

Spider-Man: Far From Home has just swung into theatres and it’s a really great time, full of great character beats and amazing set pieces. It also finally put to rest some of the theories the internet had about the movie and trust us when we say, there were a lot of them concerning the internet, some of them quite crazy. Naturally, there will be spoilers in this video so you have been warned! Some of these wide-spread theories included a theory that Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio is actually the MCU’s version of Uncle Ben. Another family theory was that MJ is actually the daughter of Nick Fury. People really try to connect everything!

There was also word that the film would bridge the MCU and the Sony Spider-Verse by including Tom Hardy’s Venom in the movie. There was also hopes that Miles Morales would show up after being teased in Spider-Man: Homecoming. There was also hopes that there would be some information on Peter’s parents, specifically, if they were SHIELD agents-which would explain the sudden inclusion of Nick Fury to the plot.
There were a lot of theories surrounding Mysterio as well, including whether or not he came from another dimension, if those Elementals were also part of a multiverse or whether Mysterio is a sorcerer much like Dr. Strange, just from a different reality. Finally, fans were theorizing and hoping that there’d be a Sinister Six set up in the after credit scene that would reintroduce Vulture and Scorpion while also giving us the MCU’s Norman Osborn.

Iron Heart Will Be The MCU’s New Iron Man

With Tony Stark out of the picture, who will pick up where Iron Man left off in the MCU? Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

With Tony Stark’s heroic exit from Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, Marvel fans across the globe have wondered: who will take up the Iron Man mantle? There are plenty of possibilities. There’s Spider-Man and even Tony’s best bud War Machine. But rumors suggest another character that seems a likely bet. That character is Riri Williams, a.k.a. Ironheart. These rumors reached a new peak level with Robert Downey, Jr. offered his personal endorsement for Riri as the next Iron Man.

In a lot of ways, this seems like the natural progression for the character. In the comics, Riri took up the mantle after receiving Tony Stark’s endorsement. When he went into a coma after the events of Civil War II, she stepped up, ensuring that his legacy would live on.

But since we haven’t seen much about Riri Williams in the MCU, how exactly would she be introduced? There are a few possibilities. They could have a solo Ironheart movie that retroactively introduces Riri. It would be similar to Captain Marvel, taking place in the past and showing how Riri and Tony met. There’s also the fact that Riri uses a Tony Stark A.I. to help guide her through the world of superhero-ing. This would be a great way to keep Robert Downey Jr. around. Tony Stark could be an A.I. that helps train her in this solo movie. His hologram has already been introduced in ‘Avengers: Endgame.’ Who’s to say it won’t come back in a bigger way in future MCU entries?

We’ll dive into all the possibilities regarding Riri’s involvement and what it could mean for the MCU.
