10 Disney Characters That Were Supposed To Look Totally Different

These Disney characters almost looked completely different from the ones you know and love! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

The world of Disney is so iconic and so memorable, it’s hard to see it any other way, particularly in relation to its beloved characters. Characters like Aladdin, Woody from Toy Story, Elsa from Frozen and the Beast from Beauty and the Beast are part of the cultural lexicon. Their looks are iconic; they’re instantly recognizable nearly all over the globe. But did you know that some of these characters were originally intended to look much different from their final versions? Some dramatically so.

When you start to delve behind the scenes of a number of Disney’s animated productions, you’ll discover a treasure trove of information regarding what might have been. For instance, did you know Elsa was originally supposed to be completely evil? This was changed later on to make her and Anna sisters. Iago, Jafar’s pet parrot from Aladdin, was originally supposed to have a British accent and be a bit more sophisticated, like a butler. The Beast was supposed to be much scarier and Gaston was supposed to be a bit more prim and proper, an upstanding gentleman. One of the most shocking changes of all is Woody, the lovable cowboy from Toy Story. Did you realize he was originally supposed to be a total jerk? He was basically the villain of the story!

There are plenty more incredible differences where that came from. Let’s take a look at a few Disney characters that bear the most striking differences from how they started to how they ended up.

Venom 2 New Information Revealed

We’ve got some new information about Venom 2! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

Released late in 2018, Venom was a bit of a surprise. Mainly because it showed that Sony does, in fact, know what it is doing in regards to its Spider-Man-less Spiderverse films.

Because that film was a heck of a good time at the movies!

So naturally, a lot of us here at Screen Rant are excited to see what comes next, specifically, Venom’s sequel.

So you know we are going to talk about all the news and theories and stuff that we currently know about the upcoming black-goo focused flick. And don’t get your hopes up. Despite so many rumors — and Photshopped pictures over the years, this news does not include Tom Holland or Spider-Man…no matter how much we wish it did!

Including information about the sequel film’s villain, Cletus Kasady, along with the evil spawn of Venom; Carnage.

Carnage is an evil, sadistic monster. It is fueled by one singular purpose, to wreak as much havoc and harm as many innocent people as possible. When you combine this with Kasady’s less-than-sunny disposition, it makes for an extremely formidable opponent for Venom and Eddie Brock.

We also get to talk about the possibility of renowned motion capture artist Andy Serkis, best known for his work as Gollum in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, taking on the role of director for the film. Something that seems to have been all but confirmed by a simple instagram post by star Tom Hardy, which has been just recently deleted. Hmmm…seems suspicious to us…

25 Improvised Movie Scenes That Made Actors Break Character

Join us as we delve into some of the best character-breaking improvised movie scenes! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

Going through multiple takes, scenes, and memorizing lines is all in a day’s work for many actors, but sometimes things don’t go quite as planned. Improvised movie moments may often lead to characters breaking character — laughing on-screen, looking straight into the camera, or doing something completely unexpected. You would think that the droids in the Star Wars universe were simply programmed to follow orders and get the scenes completed as needed, but it was a lot different for the filming of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Actor Alan Tudyk wore a motion capture suit for filming, giving him a lot more room to play around with the droid’s actions. Mike Myers went all-in for his multiple roles in the Austin Powers trilogy, including the notorious Dr. Evil. While creating his evil plans, Myers would often berate and belittle his henchmen with improvised taunts, insults, and actions. He definitely kicked things up a notch for Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me where some time traveling adventures sent him back to visit younger versions of his motley crew. When you’re doing a movie with Seth Macfarlane, you can expect a lot of ad-libbing, off the cuff moments, and hilarious scenes. Stepping out from behind his animated characters like Peter Griffin or Ted, Macfarlane had a ton of fun chewing up the scenery in A Million Ways to Die in the West. Charlize Theron also had a good time on set, often cracking up at some of the improvised moments.

From huge blockbusters like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story to children’s films like How the Grinch Stole Christmas, watch these improvised moments, see actors break character, and learn exactly why the directors left the moments in the final cut of the movie!

Avengers: Endgame Bloopers And Deleted Scenes That Make The Movie Even Better

Join us as we delve into some of the best bloopers and deleted scenes in Avengers: Endgame that make the movie much better! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

Avengers: Endgame was a truly epic movie. Fans around the world loved it so much that it’s now officially the highest-grossing movie of all time.

It had a great story, amazing action, incredibly special effects, some fantastic acting performances, humour, happy moments, sad moments, and much, much more.

But could it have been even better?

Well, we think so – and in this video, we’ll be looking at some Avengers: Endgame bloopers and deleted scenes that would have improved the movie.

The bloopers and deleted scenes in question include; a scene with Star-Lord leading the Ravagers into battle (including Kraglin wearing Yondu’s Yaka Arrow controller on his head), a scene with Thor and Rocket talking on Asgard (with Thor explaining why the mission was so hard for him emotionally), a blooper showing Scarlet Witch tripping over, a blooper showing Tony Stark breaking the Tesseract, a scene showing Tony Stark shaving Rocket’s head, a fat Thor workout montage, a scene showing the surviving MCU heroes paying tribute to Tony Stark’s sacrifice by kneeling on the battlefield in the aftermath of his snap, and a scene showing Gamora walking away from the battlefield (which would’ve confirmed that she wasn’t a victim of Tony Stark’s snap, in spite of the fact that she arrived on Earth as part of Thanos’ army).

We hope you enjoy the video! Please leave a comment letting us know what you thought about it. And don’t forget to subscribe to Screen Rant’s YouTube channel, so you never miss our great new video uploads in the future.

20 New Avengers: Endgame Details We Totally Missed

Let’s take a look at some of the best Avengers: Endgame secrets that were revealed at SDCC 2019! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

There have been some really cool Avengers: Endgame reveals over the past few weeks – perhaps most notably that recently released clip of all the MCU’s heroes kneeling out of respect for Tony Stark’s sacrifice in the movie’s final battle.

But that reveal came AFTER Comic Con.

The 2019 San Diego event had previously given us a heck of a lot more information about the MCU installment that has now become the highest-grossing movie of all-time.

A panel featuring Endgame writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely was followed by one with the movie’s directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, which provided us with a double dose of Marvel goodness.

This video will describe some of the most interesting reveals from those panels.

The secrets in question include; that Black Widow and Hawkeye fought Thanos’ henchmen in a deleted scene on Vormir, that Tony Stark shaved Rocket’s head in a deleted scene, that there was almost a Thor workout montage in the movie, that Thanos almost threw 2012 Captain America’s head at his 2023 counterpart, that Captain America almost teamed-up with Red Skull for a mission, and that the original version of the movie confused test audiences.

You’ll just have to watch the whole video to find out more and learn what the other secrets are!

We hope you enjoy the video! Please leave a comment letting us know what you thought about it. And don’t forget to subscribe to Screen Rant’s YouTube channel, so you never miss our great new video uploads in the future.

What Were The SpongeBob Writers On When They Wrote These Scenes?

Whatever the SpongeBob writers were on when they wrote these scenes, we want some too… Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

Who knew the adventures of an undersea sponge and his friends could mess with your psyche so much?! From nightmares to hallucinations and straight-up ghost hauntings, the world of SpongeBob Squarepants has been filled with some pretty trippy moments. When Squidward is forced to share a locker with SpongeBob at work, the man becomes downright obsessed and paranoid that the Sponge is going to get his little yellow fingers all over his precious clarinet. His mind goes into a frazzle as he enters Clarinetland, filled with all types of visuals that will have you questioning what in the world did you just watch? The most bizarre moment has to be the giant Bald Eagle head — especially considering they all live under the ocean. SpongeBob may not be able to drive, but in the episode “Code Yellow”, we learn he has some pretty surprising skills as a doctor! In a series of mishaps, SpongeBob was merely visiting Squidward at the hospital to support him during his nose job, gets mistaken as a doctor, and then helps multiple patients along the way.

After years and years of SpongeBob Squarepants, the show finally gave our title character something we thought he’d have all along — an imaginary friend. Except, the giant hamster Cuddle E. Hugs was downright creepy and the whole episode is just a big build-up to his big transformation into a haunting nightmare. There are a ton more trippy moments, coming from episodes from every season and including characters like the Flying Dutchman, Squidward, and Mr. KRabs’ daughter Pearl!

So get ready to dive in and make sure you stick around for some of the newer seasons of SpongeBob which feature some the trippiest and psychedelic moments ever featured on the show!
