15 Behind The Scenes Secrets From IT: Chapter 2

Little known facts from the set of IT: Chapter 2! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

IT Chapter 2 is out and it’s got us properly scared. A great way to keep the nightmares at bay is to remind ourselves that this is, in fact, a movie and that, behind that horrifying spider-clown is a makeup team and an actor. Here’s a look at some of the coolest behind the scenes facts.

There is, of course, the CGI. Not the effects that turn Pennywise into a spider, but the touch-ups that keep Finn Wolfhard, and the other young losers, looking 13-years-old. There are also practical effects, like the cosmetic adjustments done to Jeremy Ray Taylor or the strictly enforced falsetto policy.

The cast got up to all sorts of stuff on set too. First of all there were the gifts. Bill Skarsgård took something out of his own mouth to give Andy Muschietti, the director; Finn Wolfhard tried to give Bill Hader a gift but Hader was creeped out; Jessica Chastain gave thoughtful, successful gifts to the whole cast. Speaking of which, the cast only had one moment when they were all together over the course of the whole movie!

There were many surprises from Bill Skarsgård throughout the filming of the movie, who proved himself better at being creepy than CGI, going all-out to create a scary atmosphere for the poor cast of kids. The effects team, though, did keep up their end of the bargain, even setting records during the shoot. After all the blood and gore and lazy-eyes, after taking over a small town in Ontario for months, they eventually finished and, maybe most importantly, a lot of the cast members are now best friends!

20 Tiny MCU Details That Prove They Thought Of Everything

So much attention to detail was put into these Marvel movie moments! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

Creating the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a lot more than just sticking Iron Man in a bunch of random films. From timelines to story connections, the production team behind these movies have worked tirelessly to include all types of little details to help connect movies and make the MCU feel as real as possible.

Captain America has gone through quite the journey in the MCU and so have the costume designers who dress the hero. In Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Avengers “A” symbol appears on his uniform, but by the time he’s butting heads with Tony Stark in Captain America: Civil War, the symbol has been removed. And speaking of Captain America, he made quite the mess in The Winter Soldier, sending the helicarriers crashing down into the Triskelion building. A mess like that would not only need to have a huge investigation, but takes months of clean-up as well. The MCU is so in control of their that they pay attention to every single little detail — right down to the books that characters are reading during scenes. For example, take a look at the gym class scene during Spider-Man: Homecoming. MJ’s rebellious side is showcased in the scene as she reads a book during a class where you’re supposed to be active.

Since all that hard work went into creating these small details, let’s honor them all by looking back at little moments including Thor’s touching dedication to Loki and the way Spider-Man: Homecoming connects to Captain America besides the high school gym class video.

Why Rick Sanchez Is An Excellent Grandfather

Rick and Morty have a strange relationship, but it’s clear that Rick really does love his grandson! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

If you’ve seen Rick and Morty, then you’re probably familiar with the pair’s unlikely bond. On the surface, it’s a show about a grandfather spending some quality time with his grandson. Only it’s so much more than that. Rick Sanchez happens to be the most intelligent person in the universe, and we don’t mean that in a good way. He’s not exactly the best person, especially to his grandson Morty. Viewers of the show are familiar with his horrible ethics and morals, and have seen him mistreat Morty time and time again.

By that logic, one would assume that they have an unhealthy, or perhaps even a toxic relationship. In reality, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. In this video, we’ll explain why Rick Sanchez is actually an excellent grandfather. He cares about Morty deeply, is always taking an interest in him, teaching him valuable lessons, and putting him first. He’s way more invested in Morty’s upbringing than any other member of the family, that’s for sure!

18 Animated Characters Changed In Other Countries

These animated movie characters look totally different in other parts of the world! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

When you think of your favourite animated characters, you’ll no doubt have certain looks, certain voices and, obviously, certain names in mind – and you probably think everyone on the planet sees and hears those characters in exactly the same way.

But that’s not actually the case at all – far from it, as a matter of fact.

Given the nature of animated characters, it’s fairly simple to alter them for different audiences – and special effects wizards around the world take advantage of that fact in order to cater to different demographics.

Characters in the likes of Cars, Planes, Moana and the Shrek series have all been customised to suit certain countries better – and in this video, we’ll be taking you through eighteen such examples.

The characters in question include the likes of; the news anchor from Zootopia (2016), the heroine of Planes (2013), Minty Zaki and Dr. Brad Scott from Wreck-It Ralph (2012), Harv from Cars (2006), Jeff Gorvette from Cars 2 (2011), the hockey team from Inside Out (2015), the titular character Moana from Moana (2016), and Doris the Ugly Stepsister and the Red Carpet Announcer from Shrek 2 (2004).

You’ll just have to watch the video to find out what aspects of these characters were changed, as well as which other characters were altered in different countries – you might be surprised at some of the inclusions!

We hope you enjoy the video! Please leave a comment letting us know what you thought about it. And don’t forget to subscribe to Screen Rant’s YouTube channel, so you never miss our great new video uploads in the future.
