Did you spot these hidden secrets and small details in IT: Chapter 2? Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant
It Chapter 2 is packed full of easter eggs. We know it’s not easy to sift through and pick them out on your own, so let us give you a hand with 21 details that you may have missed.
There are, of course, the cameos. Some are more obvious, like Stephen King’s appearance in the Secondhand Rose. Others, however, are harder to spot. There’s the Canadian director Xavier Dolan, IT’s director Andrés Muschietti, a cast member from the 1990 IT miniseries and even an old real-life rival of King’s.
Some of the most iconic lines in IT 2 are pulled directly from other films and TV shows like the 1990 IT and three other all-time horror classics: Christine, the Stephen King adaptation about a murderous car; John Carpenter’s The Thing about a shapeshifting monster in Antarctica; and of course, The Shining. There are also a ton of callbacks to the first IT movie, like the scars on Mrs. Kersh’s chest, or the photos on her wall. Some references even manifest themselves through freaky, Freudian casting decisions.
Nods to the original book figure very prominently as well. Some of them are just small details, like Stan’s love of birds. Others are bigger, like brief sightings of Maturin the turtle, who apparently created the universe with barf.
Some of the most surprising revelations, aside from all the Meg Ryan references, come from the real-world, political roots of the novel, which are more nuanced than you might expect.

Here are some of the most bizarre scenes to have ever been shown on SpongeBob SquarePants!

It’s hard to believe that SpongeBob SquarePants first aired 20 years ago, changing TV forever for the weirder. The premise of a sponge who works at a crab-run burger joint in an underwater town called Bikini Bottom, alongside a starfish, underwater-breathing squirrel and clarinet-playing squid was way more bizarre than arguably any kids show before it, and its wacky characters, storylines and animation style still stand out today.
According to an article in the Guardian, the show’s creator had been originally interested in taking the “dark, high-voltage weirdness and gruesome closeups” of other, more adult cartoons, and to make it palatable for kids. In the same article, writer Stuart Heritage claims that the show will go down in history as a sort of “gateway show” for a number of absurdist and sometimes-darker cartoons, such as Rick and Morty. He suggests that it might be best for older kids for this reason, which a study has in some way confirms. NPR reports that researchers found that the super-vibrant, hyperspeed weirdness that is so characteristic of Spongebob can sometimes short-circuit young minds, overstimulating them like crazy!
So what makes Nickelodeon’s biggest hit such an absolutely wacky show? Undoubtedly this “loud, hyperactive cartoon with a theme tune that sound[s] like a wasp attack and the word ‘Pants’ in its title” owes a lot of its success to just how bizarre it is. So what are some of the weirdest moments in the fictional lives of Spongebob, Patrick Star, Squidward Tentacles, Mr. Krabs and Sheldon J. Plankton? From “whirly” brains to Idiot Sauce, from a caveman Patrick to a town of Squidwards, the show is full of some of the strangest moments of any cartoon. Join Screen Rant as we count down the 25 weirdest moments from this wacky tv favourite.

It: Chapter 2 gave us some interesting clues about Pennywise’s origins! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant
With the recent arrival of It Chapter 2 in theatres, fans everywhere seem to have even more questions about the origins of the notorious Pennywise The Dancing Clown! While some of us prefer to think of monstrous clown creatures as little as possible, others have delved deep in order to uncover the fascinating backstory of one of our most frightening villains. If you belong to that second camp, we’ve done some serious digging and have come up with some answers about the origin of Pennywise that might just have you running to the movies, or in the opposite direction.
For starters, It has actually been hanging around Earth causing mayhem for upwards of thousands of years, even millions! We know that It came to Earth from another universe and landed in what would later become the town of Derry, Maine. There, he first encountered the First Nations Shokopiwa peoples, and it is believed that it is with them that his habit of eating children for a year and then chillaxing for twenty seven began to form. We know that they tried to defeat him but failed, and then moved to the outskirts of Derry to get away from his evil behaviour. But why does It seem to have to stick to Derry if he is so powerful? Well some believe that he and the town are actually tied together on a much deeper level, that It’s wellbeing is dependant on that of the town. Check out these amazing theories and more incredible backstory of Pennywise in the video below, and we hope you have fun watching!

As a result, some pretty funky inventions have been introduced over the show’s three seasons.
In this video, we’ll be taking a look at some of the most incredible, and insane, gadgets to appear in the show. Some of them actually have some not-so-recognizable pop culture ties that we’ll investigate. There are a slew of different weapons, time travel devices, mind control tools, space crafts, and everything in between… including a butter robot. We’ll dive into the backstory to all the show’s greatest inventions, and note any potential subtle references that you may have missed along the way. Did we miss any actors that seem to always play the same role? Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant
You ever notice that certain actors and actresses always play the exact same type of roles, no matter what sort of movie they’re performing in? And that role is almost always an exact replica of their real-life personalities, so it’s not even like they have to try very hard to act it out perfectly. How is this allowed? How do these people keep getting away with this? And why is it so gosh darn effective and entertaining??
In this video, we’ll dive deep into the phenomenon of actors who only tend to play themselves. We’ll look at some prime examples, across multiple different genres. We’ll also theorize how and why this is the case, and discuss the positive and negative sides of this apparent trend.

Avatar 2 could reveal that the Na’vi actually originated on Earth! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant
Up until recently, Avatar was the highest grossing film of all time. It’s a decade old, but still holds up as one of the most visually stunning movies to ever grace the big screen. It tells the story of the Na’vi, a species of human-like creatures that live on the moon-planet Pandora. Only, Pandora has a bunch of natural resources that the humans want, and we all know how that story goes.
In this video, we’ll be looking at the Na’vi, and more specifically, their origins. While it might seem as though they’re native to Pandora, you shouldn’t be so sure of that. One theory states that the Na’vi were actually genetically engineered by humans. Another suggests that they’re actually an alien species who landed on Pandora and adapted to the ecosystem. Or perhaps the whole planet is just the result of debris being launched off earth when the asteroid hit millions of years ago. This is how The Na’Vi Are Not Native To Pandora In Avatar.
