In recent years- more and more movies have been crossing the billion dollar mark at the box office. To date, 43 have them have made more than 1 billion dollars– and OF those 43… Only FOUR were original movies. Every single other one was a reboot, sequel, remake or adaptation.

What’s even crazier than that? Disney owns the grand majority of them! In this video, we’re taking a look at what’s going on with the movie business, why so many movies like Avengers Endgame, The Lion King, Toy Story 4, Star Wars and more are racking in such crazy amounts of money at the box office. What’s led to this sudden burst in billion-dollar movies, and why does Disney have its hand in all of them?!

25 Addams Family Secrets You Totally Missed

25 things you might have missed in The Addams Family.
Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

The Addams Family has been around since the 1930’s, starting with a comic strip and evolving into multiple television shows, live-action movies, and the newest Addams Family animated movie. With such a kooky and creepy family, there’s so much to take in, so it’s natural to miss some little details along the way.

One of the more obvious Easter Eggs featured in the newest Addams Family is the appearance of the red balloon. Wednesday carries the balloon in when she goes to talk to her parents and Morticia mentions how there’s typically a creepy clown attached to the end. It doesn’t take much to find the reference to Stephen King’s It and the nod to one of the biggest movies of the year in It: Chapter 2. One of the things that stands out about the new Addams Family is the pet lion Kitty. The lion may seem like a new addition to the Addams Family roster of characters, but Kitty has a pretty long legacy in the franchise. Back on the original TV show, there would be cut shots of the pet lion roaming through the mansion. In Addams Family Values, Wednesday and Pugsly go through a disastrous summer as they forced to attend summer camp with activities and people they would never want to be a part of. When the siblings get into a little trouble, they are forced into a cabin where they must consume endless movies including Bambi and the musical Annie. Watch to see how the moment connects with one of the main stars.

Snap your fingers with us as we go deep into the Addams Family movies and discover some hidden moments, Easter Eggs, and connections you may have missed!

HELLO SCREENRANTERS! The Joker film has done pretty well. Well, at least with the vast majority of fans. Critics can be a little…critic-y. And with the film’s success, we wanted to put together a trivia filled video all about the Clown Prince of Crime. We poured over the film, frame by frame, and put together a list of all the hidden details and Easter Eggs. References to other moving pictures, to the comics, and even some real-life events. There are loads! You can annoy so many strangers with all the information you pick up from here! Yeah, ScreenRant! Making the world more cinematic day by day.
But can we give you more detail on what’s in the video? Heck yeah, we can! To start with, there are quite a few references to the filmic library of Martin Scorsese. And not only due to Robert De Niro being in Joker. We also have some info regarding Arkham Asylum. Which Arthur Fleck helps us out with! DC comic stories may not have been adapted for the film. But there are some influences from a couple of Joker’s iconic moments. Who’s this Debra Kane character? We shall tell you where she’s from and what she represents! Why does that Thomas Wayne fellow look familiar? Well, we’re going to tell you! And it involves another Warner Brothers epic…and maybe it’s related to Batman…suspense. So, join us today as we fill you up on some Joker goodness!

Gemini Man Pitch Meeting

Step inside the pitch meeting that led to Will Smith’s Gemini Man!

The script for Ang Lee’s Gemini Man starring Will Smith and… Will Smith, has apparently been floating around Hollywood for an incredibly long time. Several stars have been attached to the project before like Mel Gibson, Clint Eastwood and Harrison Ford. Now that de-aging technology has improved a whole lot, the movie has finally come to life… Kind of.

The film definitely raises a whole lot of questions. Like why does this movie feel like it should have come out in the 90s? What’s up with the world elite assassin having a best friend who’s a pilot/chauffeur? Why does Clay Verris not use his most powerful weapons right away when trying to take out his most powerful enemy? And what the heck was that motorcycle fight scene?

To answer all these questions and more, step inside the pitch meeting that led to Gemini Man! It’s super easy, barely an inconvenience!

El Camino Ending Explained: What Happened To Jesse Pinkman

Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

Ever since the series ended we’ve been wondering what really happened to Jesse Pinkman? Of course, we all had our own ideas on the subject but now we finally know what series creator Vince Gilligan thinks thanks to the Breaking Bad movie. But if you need the ending explained, don’t worry, we’re here to help. And naturally, there will be quite a few spoilers. What was up with that flashback involving Walter White and was the ending a jab at the Dexter finale? Who is the Brock Cantillo who should be checking his mailbox for a letter in due time? We’ll point out some things you probably didn’t notice, at least the first time around. And who wasn’t thrilled to see Jane Margolis show back up? Well, probably everyone but still! El Camino was definitely a wild ride but we’ll take you through our hero’s travel to Alaska and talk about why the film ended the way it did. As Mike Ehrmantraut once said, “it doesn’t hurt to have someone watching your back” but now Jesse is all alone in the world.

What do you think about this movie? Do you think it was a totally unnecessary addition to a practically perfect television series or were you glad to see the continuation of this epic story? Breaking Bad Easter Eggs Hidden In El Camino

Breaking Bad the tv series references in El Camino: a breaking bad movie.
Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

What makes good media is totally subjective. . .most of the time. But the vast majority of people agree that Breaking Bad was one of the best series of all time. Although it had a fitting and highly-rated final episode, many fans were eager to know what was next for poor Jesse Pinkman? Thankfully, Vince Gilligan didn’t disappoint with El Camino which picks up where the show left off. But since it’s been awhile since the show you might not have noticed a few hidden references and Easter Eggs. Like the fact that we got to see Hank Schrader and Steve Gomez again, even if only in old photos. And the same could be said for Andrea Cantillo and her son Brock Cantillo who didn’t exactly get happy endings thanks to Walter White. It’s also possible you didn’t notice the tribute to the episode “Peekaboo” or the fate of that old red Toyota Tercel. There’s definitely a lot going on in this movie and it can be hard to look past all of the nostalgia from the original series.

The Boys are coming back to town — and looking to bring a whole lot of superheroes down with them! After binging through the eight episodes of season one — and rewatching them a second time, the anticipation for the second season is through the roof!

Homelander is not only the most powerful superhero in the show’s universe, but he’s also the most dangerous. The face of The Seven already showcased plenty of reasons to hate the guy. He took out two planes with children on them, gave the Compound V to terrorist groups, and tries to control and manipulate everyone he’s around. The only thing is the public has no clue. He’s literally worshipped by everyone, has his own action figures, and continues to rake in billions for the Vought Corporation. The original “Seven” at Vought is now a massive mess. Translucent is just a pile of skin, The Deep got relocated to Ohio, and Starlight’s position in the group could be compromised for good after helping out Hughie and the Boys. So what’s the future for The Seven? Well, knowing what a cash cow they make, we imagine Vought will simply do a little rebranding to ensure the group stays in-tact. And we already have some theories as to who will join.

With huge cliffhangers, some surprising departures, and supe terrorists making their arrival, it’s time to dive right into some of the best theories on The Boys Season 2. Let’s all hope the dolphins will remain protected this time around!

Quick warning: There will be MAJOR season one spoilers along with some spoilers from the original comic book series.
