Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

Joaquin Phoenix is the latest actor to tackle the role of the Joker in a live-action movie, and there’s a lot of focus being put on how much preparation he put into the role. After the performances by Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger, there’s a lot of pressure from fans to nail this character. Oh yeah and Jared Leto played him too.

But why exactly do fans put so much pressure on actors who take on the role of the Clown Prince? When did this character become something that we expect actors to go super method on, and lose themselves in the process? It wasn’t always like this — Cesar Romero didn’t even shave his mustache when he played Joker.

In this video we’re going to take a look at the history of The Joker and how the media crafted a narrative that drove fans to expect a WHOLE LOT from actors stepping into the role of the Joker.

With modern advancements in computer technology, there have been some truly remarkable breakthroughs when it comes to movie making. The things we can do these days would make people’s heads explode only a few short years ago. We can now accomplish things in movies that otherwise have long been considered impossible. However, sometimes, they use computer animation on the DUMBEST things.

In this video, we’re going to be taking a look at some of the most ridiculous reasons that movies used CGI. In a lot of these cases, simply filming the scene normally would have worked just fine. In other cases, it was a matter of a director or producer needing to get a shot to look a specific, perfect kind of way. All in all, there have been some pretty wild instances of CGI use that we need to talk about.

Playing With Fire (2019) – Behind The Scenes Fun! – Paramount Pictures

Go behind the scenes with the cast of #PlayingWithFireMovie for a special look at the hilarious on-set fun!
🚒
When straight-laced fire superintendent Jake Carson (John Cena) and his elite team of expert firefighters (Keegan-Michael Key, John Leguizamo and Tyler Mane) come to the rescue of three siblings (Brianna Hildebrand, Christian Convery and Finley Rose Slater) in the path of an encroaching wildfire, they quickly realize that no amount of training could prepare them for their most challenging job yet: babysitting. Unable to locate the children’s parents, the firefighters have their lives, jobs and even their fire depot turned upside down and quickly learn that kids (much like fires!) are wild and unpredictable.
