The “Arkham Knight” trailer is quite a production of motion capture, dramatic voice over, and the swelling music you’d expect of any modern cinematic tentpole film. And yet… it’s a game, not a movie, and there’s not a frame of gameplay in the entire 4 minutes.

Is it a sign of the times, as movies and video games constantly try to keep up with each other, match each other’s release schedules, and generate the same level of excitement? Are you a gamer?
