Batman (vs Superman)’s Gear Revealed! – CineFix Now

Today’s fodder for the geek world’s speculation, debate and over-analysis was the reveal of the Batmobile and the costume Ben Affleck will wear in the upcoming Man of Steel 2 (aka “Batman vs. Superman”). Subscribe: http://goo.gl/9AGRm

Far be it from us to not weigh in on such a momentous occasion. The new suit is definitely less high tech looking, and Batman/Ben Affleck/Bruce Wayne himself looks a good deal more solid than the ninja Batman we’ve seen more recently.

Check out the announcement of the picture, and some reactions on DC Comic’s website: http://goo.gl/VN3JmB

Clint broke down some of influences we see going into this iteration of the suit and Batmobile. But what do you think? Any nods to comics and movies we failed to mention? What do you think this look will mean for the tone of the Man of Steel sequel? Are you excited for the movie? Nervous?

The King of the Monsters is stomping back into theaters, so it’s time to (regrettably) relive Roland Emmerich’s disastrous 1998 version of Godzilla. So charge up your atomic breath as we roast a movie that everyone wishes had stayed extinct.

Constantine Trailer Reaction – CineFix Now

NBC announced its fall schedule yesterday, and among the greenlit shows is “Constantine,” based on the “Hellblazer” comics from DC. A trailer for the show hit at the upfronts, and we give our impressions. Subscribe: http://goo.gl/9AGRm

Now, if you’re really excited about the John Constantine character, you may react differently to the trailer than Clint did. But as far as generally ramping up interest in a TV show, the trailer looked pretty standard issue. (Feel free to call us out on all the Easter eggs we missed – we’d honestly like to know!)

If you haven’t already, watch the trailer here: http://goo.gl/8aAYDb

What did you think of the trailer? Are you more knowledgeable about the Hellblazer comics than Clint is? If so, does the trailer look more or less exciting to you, given the extra background?
