We were pretty excited how the next James Bond film is shaping up already (Chiwetel Ejiofor, anyone?), but more speculation is warranted given the contents of a new casting notice. Subscribe: http://goo.gl/9AGRm
Seems the producers are looking for a six-foot plus muscular type to appear in the next film, cuing Clint (our resident Bond fanatic) to wonder/hope that there may be a Bond villian henchman coming at us soon. Maybe a classic, like Jaws, maybe a newer model of hulking muscle.
There are other possibilities for classic throwbacks, too. Sounds like Bond 24 (24!) will be shooting in an alpine village – ski chases a la Her Majesty’s Secret Service, anyone?
What do you think of these James Bond rumors? Do you want to see another good henchman in the 007 world? How about a return to some of the classic set pieces? Or would you prefer the filmmakers keep things fresh?

Ghostbusters is celebrating its 30th anniversary, so it’s time to revisit the classic paranormal comedy that launched one really disappointing sequel. Maybe two…

Movies are a very complicated mess of time, money, people, and strange decisions. Inevitably, in the hodgepodge of life that goes into creating a movie, a few strange and interesting things happen here and there that are rather fascinating little tidbits of information. Every Monday starting in 2014, tune in to Cinefix for lists of things we find out that you (probably) didn’t know!
