What is Star Citizen?

Star Citizen is the ultimate space trading and combat simulator video game for PC with support for Windows and Linux. The gameplay will consist of two main genres, first-person space combat, first-person shooter, & space trading in an MMO persistent world/universe complete with customizable private servers, as well as single-player and cooperative multiplayer campaign dubbed, “Squadron 42.” The game is built in a modified version of the CryEngine and will launch with Oculus Rift support.
