2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat: The Most Powerful Sedan In The World! – Ignition Ep. 122

On this episode of Ignition, presented by Tire Rack (http://www.tirerack.com), Carlos Lago tests the most powerful sedan money can buy: The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. Much like the Challenger Hellcat, this Charger packs an astonishing 707 hp from its supercharged 6.2-liter V-8. It is as absurd as it is functional, thanks to its two additional doors and comfortable backseat. But to find out if this sedan can do more than leave two long stripes of burnt tire for miles, we’ll need to run it through our standard set of tests, including a Hot Lap with Randy Pobst. On this episode Hot Rod Garage Presented by Lincoln Tech we revamp the suspension on our 1969 Chevy El Camino to turn this lowly hauler into a real corner-carver. The crew from Ridetech not only helped swap out the old mismatched suspension and steering components, but gave us a couple of shock-tuning tricks. The Elco received new triple-adjustable dampers, front and rear sway bars, adjustable control arms, and coilover shocks at all four-corners. We’ve also got new tech tips from Lincoln Tech and AC Delco and a brand-new question and answer session with Freiburger and Finnegan.
