The 3 items that intrigued me to this scent: The note of Banana. The nose Celine Ellena and lastly L’Artisan Parfumeur as a brand. They did well, this isn’t a home run but the banana is well done in this one. Warning for the men out there, you must like florals.

Chopard and Morillas came to play on this one. An excellent release from both the brand and the nose. The mix of honey, pomegranate and tea with multiple spices truly makes this one a gem. Great work here, bottle worthy!

D.S. & Durga is an up and coming Niche brand in my eyes. Burning Barbershop was artistic and a beautiful combination of notes. Amber Kiso goes off the strength of that release and go straight leather, incense and cypress. Gorgeous scent and bottle worthy!

Just because the name (oud), the bottle (dark accents) and the note breakdown (rum) looks interesting, don’t be fooled by all that. Reviewers know exactly what they are doing trying to be the 1st to hype this thing because of all the above, limited availability and price (below $75 which makes it affordable) once it hits discounters. There’s better out there imo and don’t fall for gimmicks. As always trust your own nose.
