The winner was Ron Cizek’s 1940 Ford, “Checkered Past”, built by Andy Leach at CAL Automotive Creations. Andy and Ron invited us out to Bennington, Nebraska to get a closer look at the supercharged, flathead-powered Checkered Past, and meet some of the talented fabricators who made it possible.
