Audi has introduced another all-electric e-tron quattro concept – but this time they’ll build it. This week’s Frankfurt IAA motor show concept will become Audi’s Q6 model, earmarked for production in 2018 and expected to take on Tesla’s Model X. It hosts a raft of future technologies, including a solar roof and, as the name implies, an all-wheel drive powertrain.

Jaguar’s F-Pace, the first SUV in the company’s 70-year history, was shown at the Frankfurt IAA motor show this week. Here are full details of the car, which goes on sale in Spring 2016.

Bugatti originally created the Vision Gran Turismo for the PlayStation game of the same name. But at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 in revealed a physical version of the car. The real-life concept hints at Bugatti’s future design language and gives us a tantalising glimpse of the Veyron’s eventual replacement.

Porsche has stolen the limelight at this year’s Frankfurt motor show by unveiling the Mission E – a spectacular 600bhp plus electric-powered concept car aimed squarely at the Tesla Model S.
