Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a game so good it’s going to single-handedly get gamers to buy a Nintendo Switch console. It may just seem like your typical fighting game on the surface, but it’s much more than that. An installment of the franchise has been released on every Nintendo console since the N64 and we’re going to tell you why Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the best one yet.

For starters, every single character that has ever appeared in a Super Smash Bros. game is playable in Ultimate and they introduced 12 new characters for the game with even more coming through DLC. To top it all off, you could even use a trusty GameCube controller to play Ultimate on your Switch. If that isn’t incredible, we don’t know what is.
