FILM DESCRIPTION:
A once close-knit gang of friends — including an actor (JoBeth Williams), a doctor (Glenn Close) and her husband (Kevin Kline), a Vietnam veteran (William Hurt), and a journalist (Tom Berenger) — meets for a weekend after the funeral of their much-envied friend Alex, who committed suicide. The friends spend the weekend confronting the personal truths, sacrifices and betrayals that have left them disenchanted. Each must contend with unresolved issues they have with Alex, and with one another.

DC FanDome – Official Teaser Trailer

Warner Bros. has released a teaser trailer for its upcoming DC FanDome event, a live, 24-hour virtual experience which will offer previews, news, and first looks from the cast and creators of some of DC’s biggest films, movies, games, and comics, including Aquaman, The Batman, Batwoman, Black Adam, Black Lightning, DC Super Hero Girls, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, DC’s Stargirl, Doom Patrol, The Flash, Harley Quinn, the Snyder Cut of Justice League, Lucifer, Pennyworth, Shazam, The Suicide Squad, Supergirl, Superman & Lois, Teen Titans GO!, Titans, Watchmen, Young Justice: Outsiders, and Wonder Woman 1984. DC FanDome will be available to watch free globally on Saturday, August 22, starting at 10 a.m. PDT.

Today on News + Games + More for August 5th, 2020: Pikmin 3 is coming to Nintendo Switch with a few extra bells and whistles later this year with a price tag Wii U owners are none too happy about, soulsborne-like-esque Mortal Shell has a release date, Comedy Central announced a Ren & Stimpy reboot, some more details on why Marvel’s Avengers will only have Spider-Man on Sony platforms, and Avatar 2 concept art reveals a really cool crab robot that’ll be great to see in action in 18 months or whenever that stupid movie finally comes out. Good lord.
