We all know by now that Link’s character was based off of Disney’s Peter Pan, but what other secrets is the Legend of Zelda hero hiding? Link has been around for years, and through this time, he has hidden some pretty crazy secrets in all of his games. Relive some of these secrets and discover some facts you NEVER knew!

Link may draw inspiration for children to explore and discover nature, but he could also be serving a bad lesson to parents considering how the character came to be. Link may be the hero of a majority of Zelda games, but there are a few games where he steps aside and another character takes control. Link has had plenty of near-death encounters, but in the world of Final Fantasy, the hero may already be considered dead. Link already has a strong connection to the Triforce, but does he also have connections with the evil Nazi organization? Link primarily uses his left hand to engage in combat, but when the interactive features of the Wii were released, the character swapped hands to make players more comfortable. One of Link’s biggest qualities is his lack of communication. Why is he quiet and what is he trying to hide? Not only is Link quiet, but we never hear much about his parents or life growing up. Will that be a mystery for a future game or something ignored all together? A crazy glitch in the Ocarina of Time allows players to quickly slide through levels and increase speed run times by a lot.
