Deadly Trick: Snake Uses Tongue to Lure Prey | National Geographic

Puff adders are violent ambush predators, but new footage reveals that these snakes are the only ones known to use both their tails and their tongues to lure in prey. Xavier Glaudas, a herpetology postdoc and National Geographic Explorer, recorded the footage after tracking the snakes at the Dinokeng Game Reserve in South Africa.
