Horses have been receiving acupuncture for almost as long as people have—since the practice began in China some 2,500 years ago. As beasts of burden, horses were of tremendous value to the Chinese, and their health was almost as important as that of their owners. Today veterinary acupuncturists can treat nearly any animal, from a bear to a porcupine to a dog. Training courses, such as those from the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, teach licensed veterinarians how to incorporate acupuncture into their practice.

Acupuncture is thought to have arrived in the U.S. in the 1800s with the immigration of Chinese doctors. It wasn’t until the 1970s, however, that acupuncture’s popularity began to take hold. Though limited studies qualify it as evidence-based medicine, those who practice acupuncture say that the effects can be explained in physiological terms.

Veterinary acupuncture has been performed on both domesticated pets and zoo animals. The latter must be sedated while the needles are inserted, but most pets are accepting or unfazed.

In this video, we’ll show you how to make a simple, basic baked chicken breast recipe. We’ll brush the chicken with olive oil and season both sides with salt and Creole seasoning. Then just bake it, flip it, and bake it again. Remove the cooked chicken next and deglaze the pan to make a pan sauce for a little extra flavor to drizzle on top.

Honda NSX First Drive – the perfect everyday supercar? | Autocar

We’ve waited long enough for Honda to release a new NSX. When the original NSX was launched, it was more thrilling than most of its rivals on both road and track.

Not only was one of the most engaging cars to drive, it set new standards for daily usability among supercars. Can the new NSX – after an absence from the market of a decade – pick up where its predecessor left off?

Today, the new NSX has a 3.5-litre, twin-turbocharged V6 in its middle, augmented by an electric motor, while a pair of electric motors at the front make it four wheel drive, increasing traction and, Honda says, aiding the handling balance. We find out if that gives it enough speed and poise to outdo rivals like the Audi R8, Ferrari 488 GTB and Porsche 911 Turbo.
