First (and only) time film director brought together a powerhouse comedic cast to create a movie that lampooned superheroes while sending the message that anybody can be super at something. Even with stars like Ben Stiller, Hank Azaria, William H. Macy, Greg Kinnear, Geoffrey Rush, the movie never really seemed to hit right with audiences, but did it get a bad rap? The Cinefix team is going to try to figure out if Mystery Men is worth watching so you know if you should give it a second chance.

A family lives an idyllic existence abroad until a tragic accident takes the life of their young son. The inconsolable mother learns of an ancient ritual that will bring him back to say a final goodbye. She travels to an ancient temple, where a door serves as a mysterious portal between two worlds.
