هي زكية فوزي محمود، الشهيرة بـ(مها صبري) ولدت في 22 من مايو عام 1932، اختارتها المنتجة اللبنانية ماري كويني للقيام ببطولة فيلم (أحلام البنات) أمام رشدي أباظة وعبد السلام النابلسي، الذي قام باختيار اسم (مها صبري) لها لتصبح بعد ذلك من أهم نجمات الغناء العربي والسينما لتتألق وتصبح فنانة شهيرة يطلبها المخرجون في نوعية معينة من الأدوار.

كان الدور الاشهر بالنسبة لها هو دور (زنوبة) في فيلم بين القصرين مع العملاق يحيى شاهين، ثم توالت عليها العروض لتقف امام اسماعيل ياسين في فيلم (اسماعيل ياسين في السجن .. ثم السكرية ..ثم يا ما انت كريم يارب ..حكاية العمر كله).

اشتهرت في الاغاني الشعبية التي تغني في الافراح فقد كانت لاغنيتها (ما تزوقيني ياماما) عامل كبير في اشاعة جو من البهجة والفرحة لدى المقبلين على الزواج وبالتالي نالت الكثير من الشهرة تعدت كل التوقعات.

تزوجت من اربع زيجات كان اخرها اللواء علي شفيق مدير مكتب عبد الحكيم عامر .. احبته ووافقت علي كل شروطه وهي اعتزالها الفن والبعد تماما عن هذا المجال ..وافقت وفي مقابل ذلك كان لها شرطا وحيدا وهو ان يطلق شفيق زوجته فهي لا ترضي ان تكون زوجة في الظل
هي صاحبة المسلسل التليفزيوني الاشهر الذي كان يحكي الملحمة الشعبية (ناعسة ) والتي ساهمت بشكل كبير في انتشارها في البيوت المصرية والتي اصبحت ايقونةالمشاهدين ينتظروها بشغف كل يوم فقد اضافت بشخصيتها القريبة من القلب الكثير من المعاني الانسانية لهذه القصة الشهيرة
بعد نكسة 1967 ضاع نفوذ زواجها (علي شفيق ) بعدما تم تحديد اقامته .. حاولت صبري ان تعود للفن مرة اخري لكن كانت جميع الابواب مغلقة في وجهها ولم تجد فرصة امامها كي تعيش وتدبر مصاريفها

لجات للباب العالي الذي تمثل انذاك في كوكب الشرق صاحبة الكلمة المسموعة لدي النظام ونظرا لظروفها المادية المتعثرة وافقت ثومة علي دعمها والوقوف معها دون تردد وبالفعل سمح لها بالغودة الي ممارسة الفن ولكن بخطوط حمراء ودون ان تطرق لابواب النجومية.

كانت لها اطلالة خاصة وسحر مميز فقد كانت تخصص لكل اغنية فستان معين لا يتكرر ظهورها به مرة اخري . وامعانا في الاناقة والاهتمام بسحرها وتالقها علي خشبة المسرح خصصت ايضا لكل اغنية (باروكة ) خاصة وكانت تكتب علي كل باروكة اسماء الاغنية الخاصة بها مما جعل من هذه الباروكات تزيدها شهرة وتالق وتميز عن غيرها من مطربات جيلها بل وغدت هذه الاطلالات موضة لكل الفتيات اللاتي يهتمن باخر خطوط الموضة

وفي عام 1985 اصيبت صبري بقرحة بالمعدة ليخبو نجمها وتبتعد قهرا عن الاضواء وتصاب بغيبوبة كبدية لترحل في عام 1989 بعد اربع سنوات من المعاناة والاهمال من زملائها في الوسط الفني
