The secret to this vegetarian version is the marinade made out of maple syrup, liquid smoke flavorings, low-sodium soy sauce and seasonings. Once marinated, fry up the tofu slices in butter or vegetable oil and serve as you would bacon with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
